Alange Castle

Alange is a municipality located in the province of Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain. As of 2017 the municipality has a population of 1,891 inhabitants.
It is home to Roman baths (still active) a medieval castle (but of Roman origins), located on a hill commanding the Matachelriver. It was held by the Order of Santiagofrom the 1240s, and was abandoned in 1550.

"Zehn unvergessliche Tage haben wir im April 2025 in einem Ferienhaus von Jantien und Walter verbracht. Das geräumige, gut ausgestattete Haus stand uns vollständig zur Verfügung. Wir hatten kein Glück mit dem Wetter: Es war kühl und es hat immer wieder geregnet. Jantien hat uns gezeigt, wie man den Holzofen bedient, und Walter hat uns Brennholz zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Ofen war einfach zu bedienen und war eine angenehme und effektive Wärmequelle.Im Haus hat an nichts gefehlt. Jede Kleinigkeit...
