MODICA

"Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids of 13 and 11) had an absolutely amazing stay at Timparucci. The apartment Scirocco is exactly as in the pictures. We enjoyed relaxing at the pool and spending our evenings on the beautiful terrace BBQ'ing and sipping a glass of fine Sicilian wine. Although Timparucci is located in a quiet environment, you will find after a 5-10 min drive by car lots of supermarkets and a local bakery. The location is excellent for exploring the baroque cities of Modica,...

"Maestrale was a spacious well equipped apartment more than suitable for 2 people. The description of the property is accurate. We enjoyed our stay very much and used the apartment as a base to see the surrounding towns of Modica, Ragusa and Scicli and daily visits to the beach near Sampieri. You absolutely need a car but this is clearly stated in the description and is evident if you look at the map. The properties are well maintained and the the pool and garden are kept tidy and clean. The pool...

Top Province of Ragusa Hotel Reviews

Itria Modica

10/10 Excellent

"This is a beautiful property located in a beautiful area of Modica with an incredible view. Easy to reach by car and walkable to Modica bassa. This place is fantastic, room was comfortable, hot tub and view a major plus. Would gladly return."

Icona's Costa Ragusa Resort - New Opening

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing location, staff, resort and amenities. 5 star all of the way! We have traveled for years and stayed in Aman resorts, Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Como, etc., and Icona Ragusa is more comparable to an Aman in privacy and luxury. Do not listen to the bad reviews as room prices were low upon opening and clearly some riff raff booked and expected 2 star on property prices. Complete seclusion and a beautiful, private beach with calm, clear water for miles. The GM and employees are incredibly trained and attentive and there for any request. The beds and large, fluffy towels are a dream and no detail is spared - turn down service thoughtfully done with slippers and water bottles awaiting alongside bed. Food and cocktails were delicious and they had a range of top shelf liquors, including tequilas which are hard to find in Sicily. Despite the resort being almost empty, they had a fabulous piano player in the evenings. If you visit Agrigento and Taormina, a must stop for a couple days of calm serenity with no crowds. RUN to book before it is discovered. You won’t be sorry!"

Torre del Sud Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"An absolutely wonderful hotel. The people were extraodinarily gracious, welcoming and relentlessly helpful and kind. The room was oddly shaped, but who cares? The bed was luxuriously comfortable. Breakfast? Incredible? Over-the-top excellent. One note: The hotel is located in a modern, developed and somewhat sterile suburb of Modica, a bit removed from the city itself. Ask the people at the desk to arrange transportation to and from the town with Stefano, a most excellent and thoughtful driver."
