"Abbiamo soggiornato 15 giorni in 4 persone ( e due cani) ad agosto 2025. La casa è molto bella,, confortevole, ben attrezzata, molto pulita e si trova in una buona posizione per raggiungere vari posti della Garfagnana e inoltre è vicino, non più di 2 minuti a piedi, al supermercato, macelleria, bar e farmacia. il giardino è molto carino e la tettoia in legno vicino al barbecue è fornita di tavolo e sedie che ci ha permesso di fare bellissime cene all'aperto. Mario è gentilissimo e risponde...

"A wonderful place to stay, the building is incredible, with a unique history. It is perfectly comfortable, despite the age. The beds were good and with a good choice of pillows! The kitchen is small but adequate, it had everything and very good quality knives (very important for any cook!). The gardens are incredible, the kids enjoyed spotting lizards, splashing in the water course for the old mill wheel and running around the grass area. We saw so much wildlife in the garden with some surprise...

"Paolo is a very nice host and the house is very pretty. The mountain view is awesome and you can easily walk through the forest to the Restaurante " Il Picco". Very good food and reasonable prices. Great location!!"

"I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. There was a sofa for 2 facing a wall, with your back to the views of the hills, which felt odd. Personally, when I book an apartment for 4 people I expect 4 people to comfortably be able to sit in the lounge at the same...

It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "

"Well equipped, pleasant and well located (near town, far enough to be quiet). Parking is behind secure gates (but its Barga, so you can leave your keys in), shielded from the house by trees. A stone path takes yup to the entrance, next to a covered dinning area. Neither are far from the loverly pool (great to cool off in, not so good if your planning on swimming lengths). "We stayed for 1 week as family with 3 kids (8-14) and really enjoyed it. The house and the pool are fantastic. The location is very secluded and quiet, perfect to relax, offering a scenic view across the valley. We were also very well taken care of by the local administrators of the house who run a nice B&B close by. "
