"Masseria San Michele has to be one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From all the little design touches to the gorgeous breakfast spread, the sweetest dogs and little cat, and the pool area - everything was perfect! "We really loved our stay here - not sure why the reviews are so bad. The farmhouse has been renovated and is gorgeous - you have a bedroom with another bed on a mezzanine for the kids. The rooms are clean and have aircon (thank goodness... it was 35 degrees :-)) There's parking right in front of your room and a big pool and pool area to use - if I understand correctly there is a small charge to use the pool but we were out every day until late so it didnt apply. "The apartment was really nice and comfy and well equipped, in a really nice location. The terrace was convenient for sitting outside and relaxing. The breakfast every day was always fantastic. The hosts, Rossella and Gavin were brilliant, very friendly, welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to go visit and eat and so forth.
