"We booked our stay for 2 weeks in July 2024. We were apprehensive due to the property not having any reviews on Expedia. We decided to take a chance and book it. I am so happy we did! This is the most amazing villa!! It is located in a very quiet and quaint town of Joppolo. The villa was beautiful! It was decorated so cute, and it felt like home. It was fully stocked with everything we needed for the time we were there. We shopped at local grocery stores and cooked almost every night. The villa...

"We had an incredible stay at this house. The place and property was stunning with great views and a variety of sitting / hangout areas. The property also has easy and safe access to a beautiful beach that is not nearly as busy as other beaches in the area. The hosts were truly sweet, helpful and caring people that were always looking out for us and navigating our stay in the area. I cannot say enough great things about the house but more importantly the people we me met along the way. I can’t...

Hotel Borgo di Santa Barbara

8/10 Good

"Family run hotel - so helpful and friendly which really made our holiday special. Never been on first name terms with hotel staff before ! But special mention to Martina, Aurelio, Fabio and Katrina 😀 (& Kevin on the Marlove boat) Hotel very peaceful as out of town. We walked into Tropea old town - it takes about 40 mins safely in daylight but can organise the hotel minibus pick up easily in the morning for evening return. We liked our room (no 9) with sea views and spacious although could have done with some drawers so we could properly unpack. Hotel restaurant great food and busy. Pool bar menu limited in day but freshly made. Pool not massive but also not busy at all in October, so plenty of sunbeds. Worth going to local beach Riaci - long steep walk so pay for the hotel minibus to take you there and back !"

ananea Tropea Yachting Resort

10/10 Excellent

"The resort was as advertised and did not disappoint; great location with access to beaches, historic centre charm, shopping and dining. The property was well maintained, rooms clean and comfortable. From arrival with a welcoming prosecco to departure the staff from front desk, housekeeping, and dining were courteous, friendly and helpful. We didn’t feel rushed and were pleasantly surprised to interact with the GM (Matteo) daily. Special shoutout to Nicoletta from the front desk for her charm, helpfulness and overall pleasant attitude. The airport transfer was arranged by the hotel and was seamless. The only improvement is really on us to have booked early enough to get a room with a French balcony."

Capovaticano Resort Thalasso Spa

10/10 Excellent

"The property was absolutely stunning. Though it was supposedly at capacity it felt like there were only a few of us staying most the time. It was very quiet and very restful. The amenities were wonderful. The only complaint would be our dinner meal at the main restaurant. It was not good at all and so we did not return there the second night. But the breakfast and bar menu, although limited was good."

Pietre Bianche

10/10 Excellent

"We were greeted by Monia, she was very friendly and happy to help with our needs. The location was awesome just south of Pizzo, with both walking and ape rides into Pizzo, a short drive less than a couple minutes. The apartment was really awesome with great views, large balcony, inside great room sizes with kitchen with gas stove, and large refrigerator, complete with dishes and utensils for use. The grounds were greatly maintained, with a large outside pool right outside the rooms, and a few steps further was a private beach area with chairs and umbrellas and access to the sea. The train station was very close walking distance to get to Tropea and more. The property offered breakfast, lunch and dinner, mostly sandwiches and pizzas, with a minimal bar area. There was adequate parking for our vehicle and the property seemed very safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful to our needs. I felt is was a great location and property. Thank you everyone for making our stay wonderful. We appreciate all of you, and will see you again."
