"My husband and I stayed here with friends and had a wonderful stay. We had a partial ocean view and they had an ocean view. Rooms were spacious and service was great. The grounds are pretty and we enjoyed the private beach with snorkeling available at your feet. I wish they would have had umbrellas available on the beach, but once the shade disappeared, we just moved over to the pool area and grabbed umbrella chairs. Perfect sunsets at night."

"We had a great family stay in Puako! Nancy was attentive and fast to reply to any messages. The house was clean and perfect for our family of 6. It took a little getting used to the lack of air conditioning but wasn’t bad with all the screen doors and windows and a good excuse to enjoy the Hawaiian breeze. The views of the ocean were amazing and the mature landscaping around the grounds were beautiful. We really enjoyed being able to use the beach gear and kayak under the house. Our young daughters loved playing in the tidal pool, sheltered from the waves. Snorkeling right out front was terrific with lots of fish along the reef. Be sure to wear your reef shoes for the spiny urchins. Turtles are along the beach and in the water everyday. We only saw 8-10 people during our entire stay walking by. We hope to be able to return sometime soon! Thank you again!"

It was well-stocked with everything we needed during our trip — from kitchen essentials to beach gear, which made things super convenient.The location is fantastic — just a short walk across the road to the ocean, where we were able to catch a glimpse of the resting sea turtles. It’s also just a quick drive to Hapuna Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches on the island.Overall, it’s a peaceful and comfortable place to stay with a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure nearby. We’d definitely come back!"

"What a glorious, peaceful spot. We were able to get easily to 5 beaches with waves gentle enough for little kids, plus afternoon trips to the tide pools and turtles and sunsets. The warm wind, birds, outdoor shower, volcano view - this was an epic trip for our family. "
