We had an excellent stay at Hotel Cucuve. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were consistently friendly, professional, and helpful throughout our visit. The breakfast was very nice. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

This is probably one of the better hotels I have stayed at . Incredible service and there is purified water at your convenience even in the bathroom. Very safe I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying on santa cruz island in the galapagos.

This is a great place to stay! It is in a very walkable area, close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast is great and the hotel is very clean. When we come back we will definitely be staying there.

A Great Stay

Hotel Cucuve was perfect for my 3-night stay on Santa Cruz. The room and bathroom were super spacious and clean and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The location is also super convenient, just a short walk to many attractions on the island. I highly recommend Hotel Cucuve.

Hotel Cucuve is the perfect hotel getaway.

Our stay at Hotel Cucuve was outstanding. The staff was friendly and courteous, going out of their way to ensure we had a great time. The rooms were spacious and beautiful, the breakfast was great and the location to downtown cannot be beat. We would absolutely stay here again!

Our stay at Hotel Cucuve was truly fantastic! The room itself was very comfortable, simple yet stylish furnishings, with AC and a ceiling fan, USB charging plugs throughout, a very spacious balcony with hammock to relax in and several seats. All of the staff were super friendly and very helpful in trying to locate our lost luggage and have it delivered to the hotel. Coffee and tea and some light snacks are available at any time free of charge, and if leaving early in the morning for day excursions, you can even request a packed up breakfast in advance. Definitely felt like our home away from home during our time there, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Puerto ayora.

Excellent Hotel

Excellent hotel in downtown Puerto Ayora. Ana, the manager, was very helpful and took care of our every need. Breakfasts (handmade to order) were wonderful. Good location, very clean.

Our stay at Hotel Cucuve was great! The rooms were very nice and beds comfortable. The breakfast was great too - made to order eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, and other food options, plus juice and delicious coffee, The hotel manager and staff were very helpful and attentive, and they helped with logistics and any needs we had! I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again if we return to Galapagos.

Cucuve is a botique hotel in the best sense of the word. We loved the bright, clean, air-conditioned rooms, the delicious breakfasts and handy all hours snack bar, and the central location, just steps away from the heart of the thriving restaurant and tourist district on the malecon.

The staff is absolutely amazing. So very relaxed and helpful. The breakfast is a full bery tasty breakfast and the woman preparing it is wonderful. They even sent us off with a bagged lunch when we left earlier than 7am and had light crackers and cookies available throughout the day. Location is very convenient. They even have a separate area accessible to guests on the waterfront that we found to relax and read. I highly recommend but if you have difficulty with stairs I would suggest not staying here as reception is one floor up.

The hotel is clean and the property looks good. I was disappointed by a picture they featured that was NOT of there property but has been taken down now. Their breakfast was good with snacks available anytime.

Best staff ever!

On the trip to the island the zipper on my backpack had broken. This was my only luggage for the trip. I asked the staff if they could help me out. That evening the bag was returned to me with a new zipper. When I think of this trip what I will remember is the amazing assistance I received when I ask for help.

Wonderful Stay in the Galápagos – Highly Recommend! We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to the Galápagos. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. They were not only thorough in their service but also incredibly helpful in offering tips on the best places to visit and things to see. Their local insights made our experience even more memorable. The breakfast was a highlight—absolutely stellar, with a variety of delicious options to start the day right. We felt truly taken care of throughout our stay. We loved everything about Hotel Cucuve! The service is top notch. The beds and bedding so comfortable, slept great every night. The location is perfect, easily walkable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Loved the terrace that was available for us to use by Bahia Mar. We spent a lot of our downtime there. Loved that they had filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles, saved us a fortune in bottled water! The breakfast was good too, cooked to order eggs every day. Everyone working there was so friendly and accomodating!

This hotel was excellent, primarily because of its great location, making it easy to walk anywhere. On the first day, the staff provided a kind and thorough explanation, and the room was clean and well-maintained. The thoughtfully arranged amenities were also impressive. The breakfast, though simple, was sufficient, and the hotel was quiet and safe. It is a wonderful and cozy hotel that I would highly consider visiting again. Thank you.
