Thompson Vacation Home, 1minute walk to the beach, dog friendly

  • The Thompson vacation home is a three bedroom three and a half bath home in the gated Las Conchas community. A roll away bed is available for an additional guest. Access to the beach is right across the street via the beach access alley between two beach houses, the beach is about 50 yards away. Each bedroom has a private bathroom. A half bath is located on the main floor adjacent to the great room and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable vacation; refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots and pans, plates, glasses and silverware. The great room is next to the kitchen with a kitchen counter and dining table. Comfortable couches provide viewing of the TV which offers Dish Network channels. Outside are three patios that have views of the Sea of Cortes from different levels, each with a table and benches. In addition to the patios is a front porch with seating and access to the BBQ area. Secure parking is behind gates in the front yard. Las Conchas has 24/7 guard patrols so you can feel secure staying here.

Short stay for Birthday party.

We enjoyed the short stay we had just before Thanksgiving. The short walk to the beach afforded us an walk to enjoy the sand and sights.

Close to the beach!

This house worked out great for us. The dogs loved the terraces and the fenced yard and we all loved the short walk to the beach. It is also a nice feature that all of the bedrooms have their own attached bathroom.

Great for our family!

We came from Tucson (4.5 hours) for 4 nights of our spring break. We have 4 kids (ages 9-16) and LOVED the house and the proximity to the beach. We all had a spot to sleep and the couches were comfy for hanging out together. We enjoyed the super quick walk to the beach to explore the tide pools. The host was close and helped us get settled.

Terrific

We love staying here. It's clean, comfy, close to beach and a great ocean view. What more can you ask for. We are just jealous of the people coming in next. We could easily stay another week. Everything we needed was supplied. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Host was welcoming. Let us do an early check in. WiFi on Vrbo site isn’t updated, needed to look at router to find password. 2 of 3 the showers weren’t usable. One had no water and other just had cold water. The 2 two beds are fold out, small mattress’s were not comfortable. More bedding would be helpful for the foldouts. Kitchen and rooms was great, quite. Great ac system. Glad there were 4 bathrooms. Close to beach. Great closed in parking. Felt safe.

Comfy and relaxing beach house

House was perfect for us, our two little dogs and our friends! Super quick walk to the beach and great views from the margarita deck. The house is a little older and worn, but well stocked and clean. If you have bigger dogs and close the gate, it is fully fenced. My little Maltese mix could get under the gate if she tried. We’ve been coming to Rocky Point for years, and this is one of the best houses we’ve rented. We are hoping to be back soon!

Gary’s Property

The pictures of this home do not do it justice! It is a beautiful home with en-suite bathrooms in every room, a powder room off of the kitchen, 3 separate level balconies to enjoy the breeze of the ocean, a built in outside grill if you decide to grill outside for dinner (we did), spacious rooms and bathrooms, I could go on and on about this home! Gary was extremely accommodating as is his home. We never had a problem, I did ask for a late check-out (noon) due to unforeseen circumstances and he was fine with it. 5 stars! Would highly recommend!

Gary is a fantastic and responsive host. The house is exactly as described. Great location and easy beach access. Nice to pull the car right up to the door. Great view. Great price. A few items not working in the house but Gary addressed them and the house is very well appointed.

The Thompson Vacation Home is a great choice for families that want to be near the beach. Convenient, comfortable and clean.We enjoyed our stay and the host, Gary, was helpful with the recommendation of a doctor to see when our son wasn't feelimg well. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great family getaway

We have stayed here 3 times and nice location to the beach, directly across the street. House is comfortable to take the whole family and still have space. The whole property is enclosed so very safe for dogs

Los Conchas stay

Very nice property. Great views. Good location. We stayed for a month and loved it. I appreciate having dog friendly properties to rent. We really enjoyed walking our dogs on the beach! Owners are right next door and very responsive. Would stay again.
