"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

The privacy was important to us, as our oldest child is autistic and is anxious around strangers. Well, it turned out, that an elderly man lived in one of the sheds in the garden with his large dog. "Fantastic place with large secure garden. We didn’t travel as much as expected because we had trouble dragging the kids out of the pool / away from the games barn. When we did the nearby lake with canoeing, beach and play park was great. Very eclectic location - not luxurious but really well equipped for a self catering family. "
