The resort is quite run-down, which is a real shame because it has so much potential if some time, money and care were put into maintaining it. "Nice staff and good amenities"

"Room was amazing, better than some hotels that I’ve stayed in. Very clean, great amenities in the room, next door to the Plaza shopping centre."

"Clean room"

"We stayed a couple of nights. Our room wasn’t Service so had to reuse our wet towels from the day before mould on the shower curtains thermal heated swimming pool wasn’t heated. Had to climb into bath to have a shower very slippery from not cleaning room service..no separate shower. TV signal kept dropping out so could not watch any TV. Mattress very worn … very disappointing for the cost we paid would not recommend this motel…."

"Staff is amazing as they do ever. If something needs fixing just ask them. The grounds could use some manicuring and trimming. Door stops are a trip hazard. Location is not in town but on the lake. It is quiet and you can hear the birds in the morning."

"Nice clean room, perfect for the two of us! Parking right outside. Hosts great, friendly & helpful. Close to Mt Maunganui for restaurants, beach & supermarket across the road. Perfect spot."

"Margarett and Rob were very kind, they or breakfast was amazing, and the room was comfy and cozy!"
