"We had a wonderful stay at Heron Point. It was January and I knew it would be cold, so having a hot tub, a game room and a theater were high on our list. Heron Point did not disappoint. With 8 adults and 7 children (ages 2-14) there was something for everyone. The home was spacious and clean, the theater, game room and hot tub were spectacular, and the host was easy to communicate with. We highly recommend!"

I have stayed here multiple times, I love that it's dog-friendly, staff is always so very welcoming. Breakfast is nothing to shout about... but there's coffee and juice and toast and a waffle machine. Eggs are powdered... Overall, a stellar deal for those staying in Altavista. "

"Everything was wonderful! The ease of access, the fully equipped kitchen, the beautiful rooms, fireplaces, everything! Short of groceries, we had everything we needed to enjoy a week away! There were a couple of things that could have made things a little easier - figuring out how to operate the fireplace and the thermostat were a little tough. Having some instructions around would have helped. But, having young adults around helped alot!! We got it figured out and thorouvhly enjoyed everything!Thank you. I look forward to my next getaway!!"
