"Good location but service isn't great. Room service threw away some of our snacks. There was an issue with motor pumps in the morning of our checkout and water supply was not there. No effort was made to provide alternate arrangements."

"Very nice place, with good food. But very expensive, particularly by Bhutanese standards. There's another place with a fantastic view directly overlooking the Punakha Zhong that is included in the package tour prices, so you don't have to pay extra. "

"Beautiful new hotel with balconies and great views over the valley. Staff were very friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to resolve the issue of double booking. Bhutanese food was superb and breakfast great. Would definitely recommend. "

"Zingkham was the best hotel experience in my 15 days Bhutan trip. The view of Punakha Dzong from the room balcony was a beautiful sight. The restaurant served a fantastic breakfast and we ate a delicious ala carte lunch and dinner. The warm and welcoming staff deserve a special mention. Room and room facilities are fantastic will certainly stay again at same property for a longer time on my next visit."

After visiting Punakha Dzong, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Punakha. Stroll along the riverfront or visit the monuments while you're in the area.
Cross the dramatic suspension bridge to reach Punakha Dzong, where monks chant in courtyards surrounded by jacaranda trees. Trek alongside rice terraces to Chimi Lhakhang temple, where locals believe a blessing increases chances of having children.

The location of the hotel is amazing - you can see Punakha dzong, rivers and entire city! The property was also amazing, clean and very well staffed. restaurant had great options for food. The only inconvenience we had was that property is on a hill and doesn't have elevators or golf-cart so for my Mom climbing stairs up and down to go from room to reception, restaurant etc was very inconvenient. Also, not their fault, but their was power outage several times in one day. They should get power...

Lovely cozy room with spectacular view of river valley and local dzong. Note: road to get here is 20 mins of gravel switchbacks but my driver had no problem. Food was good.

Room was clean and modern. Amenities were great. There is a construction ongoing next door but I did not hear any noise. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I have any chance to visit Thimphu

The room was very spacious. The staff was incredibly kind. Thimphu is small enough you can walk everywhere. If you do a hike or anything they’ll make you a “to go” box. My ONLY complaint is you can hear noises outside, but if you are a heavy sleeper it will be fine. Wonderful hotel.
