"Hotel/apartment was great. Locating the place was difficult. No name of the apartment. Had to ask neighbors wgere the hotel was but I did not know the name of the place. Luckily the neighbor recognized the pictures I showed her.
Over all it was a nice, clean place fir the remote area it was in. sbd the manager Ramon was very nice. "

My wife and I were at the Lodge for eight (8) full days. We have extensive travel experiences throughout the world. We cannot say enough about our stay, without a doubt one of the best we have had across almost 30 years. Among so many world class amenities (food, service, knowledge of the area, our guides, etc.) , what stands out the most were the people. Every single staff member from our guides to the front desk,....it was just not the service you remember, but how they made us feel. We...

Bisque del Cabo exceeded our expectations! The staff, villas, view from the villa, the food, grounds, and the wildlife on the grounds. A naturalist provides walking tours to discuss the wildlife which was very informative. We can’t say enough good things about our stat

This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Dining is surprisingly good (my husband is a gourmet chef so he should know) as is the service! We couldn't ask for more but got it thanks to the friendliness of the owners. They are ever present and offer great advice (as well as conversation) for a fulfilling experience.
We were sincerely sad to leave and hope to return in the future...

You can just shed all your worries and concerns when you arrive at Iguana Lodge. You are greeted by the warm, friendly staff who become like family members by the time you leave. If yoga is your penchant - this is an ideal spot with two lovely yoga platforms situated amongst tropical plants all while listening to the surf crashing on the almost empty beach. Take a swim in the pool, boogie board on the beach, sit at the Pearl restaurant in one of the cushioned adirondack chairs sipping on the...

This is an excelent option when you're planning to shop in Golfito. The hotel is near (10 min) of the free zone. The rooms are very clean, good security. They food services are excellent, with very good prices.

Half of the building is over the bay, so walking up to the rail you're guaranteed to see unique birds and small fish...possibly a crocodile or a stingray. The layout is unique in that the guest rooms open right into the dining and bar area. I quickly got used to it and found it convenient. The bar shuts down at 10pm, so unwelcome noise also stops at 10pm. The food is good and the staff is friendly. If you're from the US, be aware that the service culture is different. It is a true rare gem. A wonderful lodge in the middle of the jungle. Our villa was spacious. It has two huge rooms and a giant porch where we saw monkeys. I was grilling to the sound of howler monkeys. The owners are a young Danish couple who are welcoming and helpful. They are building a big pool which is going to be ready in the next few weeks. We were the second guests and I can tell you- this is going to be an upscale lodge so come now while the prices are still reasonable. The way...

We loved our stay at Cabinas Tropicales! We had a big room with private bathroom that easily housed us and our two medium sized dogs. JeanCarlos the manager was super friendly and helpful, and we also chatted with the nice cleaner who had a great dog named Fiona who wore a helmet and goggles to come to work in the morning. The shared kitchen was well-stocked and the fridge available for our food. The property is gated so the dogs could wander around.

My favorite place in Costa Rica! Rustic and so charming. Fantastic for lazy birdwatching and nature study right on site: and close to the beautiful Dulce Gulf and Corcovado National Park, as well. The entire staff is warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. There is no place on Earth quite like this. I can hardly wait to go back. :)
