"Great place and very clean. Any issues we had Sergio resounded quickly to fix any issues and offered many recommendations since we weren’t familiar with the area. There is a new condo building going up in front of this one so the view was 75% obstructed and it was a little noisy. Very safe area and had no issues while on property. Restaurants within a 15-20 min drive, get your groceries before as the store next door is pricey. Would book again :) "

"Wir haben hier wundervolle Tage verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist genau wie auf den Fotos beschrieben. Sie ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles sehr sauber und wir konnten uns extrem gut erholen. Wir haben den Pool und die Terrasse, die von außen nicht einsehbar sind, sehr genossen. Außerdem konnten wir im Garten Leguane, Schmetterlinge und viele Vögel - auch die scharlachroten Aras beobachten, die sich von den Früchten der Palme im Garten ernährt haben. "We stayed at the Marala Hotel for the last two nights of our Costa Rica vacation, and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been treated so kindly at a hotel—it felt more like staying with distant family than at a resort. Everyone was extremely helpful in recommending local beaches, activities, and excursions, which made our time in the area even more enjoyable. The restaurant served delicious food, and breakfast was included each morning. I especially appreciated that breakfast was made to order rather than buffet-style—it was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. Our room overlooked the ocean and had such a peaceful, tranquil atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was watching monkeys visit our balcony! My 11-year-old son absolutely loved seeing the monkeys up close, and it became one of his favorite memories from our trip. The property is surrounded by mango and coconut trees, creating a beautiful tropical setting that made us feel immersed in nature throughout our stay. The hotel is truly unique and unlike the more commercial properties in the area. If you’re looking for a relaxing, authentic, and peaceful getaway, I highly recommend staying here and plan to be back for our next Costa Rica vacation."
