"Los Bungalows son bastante bonitos y la experiencia en general fue buena. Al llegar al lugar si fue un poco confuso porque no estábamos seguros de dónde estaban los bungalows, por suerte una persona de limpieza nos vio y nos ayudaron. La propiedad es muy linda y rodeada de árboles, si considero importante mencionar que para llegar a los bungalows hay que pasar por el área común de los voluntarios del centro de rescate"

"Walking distance from one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Great breakfast and nice swimming pool. You can see macaws, sloths, frogs and howler monkeys in the area.
Make sure to visit Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Gandoca-Manzanillo as it is located just 10 minutes drive from the hotel."

Literally, EVERYTHING was great.
We highly recommend this place. Take the little plane to the Limon airport and just have them set up your transportation. They'll have someone waiting for you. We had zero problems. Everything went as smooth as possible because of the Awa staff! We will return to the Caribbean coast of Punta Cana and most definitely stay at the Awa Beach Hotel again! I'd give them 10 stars if i could!

"I can't rave enough about this bungalow! We loved being able to walk out the gate to one of the most beautiful beaches I have been to! The bungalow is clean and comfortable, kitchen is a little tight, but manageable. Property manager Pablo, resolved a problem with the safe quickly, and also set up a tour of Refugio de Manzanillo with Abel, whom I highly recommend! We enjoyed visiting Ara Manzanillo and the Jaguar Rescue Center, both close drives. The restaurant next door was convenient and there are plenty of others within a short drive. I would absolutely rent this place again in the future! "

"We are two families and some friends. We were 8 at one point. 6 most of the time. The house fit perfectly. Three very comfortable bedrooms each with its own bathroom and very welcome air conditioning. Upstairs open air couch desk and hammock. Downstairs open aire kitchen and living space with large dining table. We did most of our own cooking. Wonderful grocery stores very close. Su and Alvaro live in the back with there kids and they were so helpful. Cleaned the house about every 3 days and did laundry! On the property we say howler monkeys, Green Macaws and iguanas.The beach was steps from the property. Every morning we made coffee and sat on beach. The beach was quite all week and fun in the weekend. There's a wonderful little restaurant, La Serena, steps from the property and a bar with Salsa Lessons and lots of fun in the weekend just a few steps farther. Even on the party nights everyone was pretty much done by 8pm. Short drive to whatever you need. Needed to go the health clinic once. It was perfect. We wanted for nothing."
"We love our room, it was comfortable. The restaurant is amazing and staff is very friendly. We were a little bit worried about some bats hanging outside the bathroom (behind the fence). Our room didn't have air conditioning but it wasn't necessary at all, the design of the room make it very confortable. "
"Pictures don't do justice. All three bedrooms were great size. We had 7 people and plenty of room. Outside was amazing. Watched monkey's in the trees one morning. The pool was great. No complaints at all about the house."
