"The owners do not understand English. And they had no idea that we reserved their room. We were locked out of door. We are lucky to met a couple who can speak Spanish and English both and help us to call the owner. Then the owner come. Anyway, the room is OK, but the parking is difficult."

Garden is really lovely with lots of cats to spot, also birds doves etc. Pool good but cool - good to relax around. WiFi was good, TV with some English news channels. Good range of cookery utensils but only stovetop no oven or microwave. Bed comfortable and slept very well. The apartments are about 10 minutes walk from the centre of Los Llanos, which has plenty of friendly bars and some restaurants....

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

An alternative , away from the bustle of modern life with caring and imaginative hosts!
"Buena Vista is gorgeous! The style is local and simple, with an imaginative decor . The hosts greeted us like old friends and arranged a birthday cake for my husband and horse riding up in the mountains. We enjoyed their company! The only negative comment was that the swimming pool was not functioning but we believe that this will be available again next year.
