"This is a villa converted to a hotel. The have only 4 rooms. The description is misleading. Too expensive. Does not worth it. It should not be rated more than 1 star! The view from the room (Delox twin) is totally obstructed. It smells terrible!"

"This was a new listing on VRBO and the specifics of rooms and prices were wrong. However the front desk clerk went above and beyond to accommodate our group. The kitchen staff was wonderful too. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The view over the town and mountains is spectacular!"

"It was a big pleasure to have a stay at this house. The location and views are breathtaking, there was no morning or evening in this villa without saying 'oh what a beauty!'. "Its a property about 7 km away from town. Its a beautifully built property . As i understand it has 6 rooms, and a pool table in the loft. Great staff. There is no lift but its not an issue. There are small things they need to see to. Like salt and pepper shakers ( rather than sticking your fingers into the salt/pepper jar. ) there are no tissues in the room/bathroom. No hand washers - but lovely towels. The scenery from the small restaurant is amazing. This is place i may stay at again"

"A charming boutique hotel in Nuwara Eliya! My family and I had a great stay here, the hospitality was second to none. From the welcome cup of tea to the morning breakfasts and games for the children, the colonial style was fantastic and made for a very welcome stay. The beds were conformable, the deluxe room had a lot of space and all the amenities you needed were provided. Highly recommended."

"We recently stayed at the Kandy Citadel Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and offered a pleasant stay. I want to give a special mention to Sadun Fernando, one of the servers, who provided exceptional service. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our breakfast experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend Kandy Citadel Hotel for its excellent hospitality and beautiful setting."
