Farmstay in Pyrénées-Orientales

"The address given is not accurate and it took us ages to find, we had to hope that the host read the messages, he then gave us the address. This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Belle maison dans un village paisible tout en étant proche (5/10 min) des commodités! Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et disponible en cas de besoin, on sent qu'ils aiment leur maison et en prennent soin. Les pièces comme la cuisine, le salon,.. sont très bien équipées, idéal donc pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner par exemple. Il serait bon par contre d'installer l'air conditionné dans certains points clés de la maison tant les chaleurs peuvent être intenses. Il y a des ventilateurs et les murs de...

"We had a wonderful family holiday: perfect for all three generations. We were brilliantly looked after by Jeni and Jean-Pierre. There was oodles to do: beach, mountains, walks, cycling and of course, chilling by the pool with a glass of rose to hand. The farmhouse is delightful. All just rather lovely. We are missing it already! "
