B&B in Pyrénées-Orientales

This hotel is an absolute gem! We felt so welcome. The hotel is beautifully maintained and the location ideal for day trips in the Pyrenees or just relaxing on the terrace. Breakfast is wonderful and we highly recommend having dinners at the hotel which are like a luxury restaurant with local seasonal ingredients right at your “home”. This is a special place - highly recommend.

Carmen and Alicia are excellent hosts. They are incredibly welcoming and gave great dining and site seeing recommendations. All their rooms have private baths which are extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the full breakfast was outstanding! We had eggs, cheese and ham, juice, homemade cake and coffee. We stayed one night in Lotus room with my daughter. The hosts are supper welcoming. Swimming pool is small but vey pleasant. The landscape around the house is a piece of art. 15 min drive to Colliour. Also a local ville Sorede is very close small picturesque and very French. Nott easy to find parking after 7 pm in Colliour. Parking on the property is easy. A few minor points for improvement. Bugs and mosquitos: bring a spray. A great and quiet place to stay

Friendly host, and the most friendly town. Views are spectacular… The bed was comfy and rooms were spacious. The host were lovely cooks. Would stay at Maison Prades B&B over any hotel…

This B&B is charming and cozy, with a lot of quirky character. It is more like staying in someone’s home than in a hotel. Each of the rooms is differently decorated; the breakfast takes place on a vine-covered verandah where dinner is also eaten if you book ahead. There is an outdoor seating area in the entry courtyard and also in the interior courtyard by a small fishpond. Cold bottled water—and a tasty mint syrup to add to water—is kept available for guests in a fridge in the games room....

We loved this beautiful old home! Updated and well-maintained. A good base for visiting the region. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful.

I am so happy to have found this place, amazingly priced in a historic renovated property, spotlessly clean and comfortable, as well as quiet and well-located. What made the stay even better are the lovely couple running the bed and breakfast, who go above and beyond with hospitality, communication, and their genuine friendliness and willingness to help and share their knowledge.
