"My room was a lovely suite with its own kitchen and sofa. I think furniture lay out could be changed so you could watch TV from the sofa rather than just the bed. My TV didn’t work the first night but the staff fixed it the second night, and offered me another room if they couldn’t. Breakfast was nice and lots of choice. Hot food cooked fresh. The hotel is more central than I thought so easy to walk into town along the river or even to the large garden centre. A big downside is my room was...

"Lovely place to stay"

"No issues with the room as usual, we have stayed there several times as we visit family nearby. My issue was the breakfast, as, ,although soya milk and gluten free bread was on menu, there was none available. Which is not acceptable if on the menu, when staff asked, we were told it had not been delivered. However exactly the same thing happened last time we stayed there. Not acceptable."

"A very clean hotel the staff were extremely helpful, friendly couldn’t do enough for you. The continental breakfast was ample with plenty of choice. The food was also very good for evening meal. The front rooms could be noisy due to traffic. The hotel bar and restaurant is closed on Sunday night."

"A lovely quiet hotel. The room was enormous and had a brilliant TV. I just need a quiet sleep and a base whilst visiting sites. This was a good find. Thankyou"

"Excellent room with air conditioning which was a boon. Facilities were also excellent. Breakfast was good and parking on the premises. Would stay there again."

"The accommodation was modern, spotlessly clean and tidy. The location for our requirements was excellent. There was mike and orange juice supplied in the fridge. The only criticism is that the room was very hot and there were no fans and on a personal note the double bed was very small, but these points would not stop us going back. Other than that I would highly recommend."

"I always enjoy staying at this hotel however this was the first time I'd stayed in room 9, and I found the bed to bed quite firm. Apart from that no faults"

"Very clean, Tom the barman was very helpful. Not far to town centre."

"En-suite and bedroom clean and ideal for business overnight staff"

"Freezer was fully iced up so I had to defrost it. Incredibly noisy due to neighbours doors. Very warm in summer. Overall ok but not for business. Woman kept giving me the wrong apartment on arrival. Area isnt nice too, next to a pub with a lot of reprobates"

"Homely feel and helpful, friendly host. He was extremely accommodating. The breakfast provided was a lovely bonus. It’s in a great location, central but in a quiet street."

"House was clean and well equipped and was a pleasure to stay"
