This is a great choice as it is well located in the upper Old Quebec, near many historic sites, good restaurants and interesting shops - and near the funicular to deal with getting up and down between the upper and lower parts of the old city. The staff was helpful. The room small, but well appointed and updated. Breakfast is not offered in the hotel, but there are lots of choices within walking distance.

Staff were great. We checked in, went to the room, turned on a lamp and could smell like a burning plastic smell. It got worse and we eventually worked out it was the lamp went downstairs for help and they immediately came up and tried to unplug it .. to no avail. We got moved to another room straight away no fuss. Very good service.

Great location, amenities, and staff. However, the room temperature was difficult to control during our winter stay (−25 °C outside). The room was quite cold from about 6–10 pm despite setting the thermostat to 75–80 °F, then became very hot later in the night. Likely a more comfortable stay in warmer weather, hopefully..

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated being allowed to check in early when our room was ready. However, there were a few inconveniences. The sink was extremely low, even for someone shorter like me, which made it uncomfortable to use. The hotel also does not provide umbrellas, which is surprising since many hotels typically offer them, especially in a city with unpredictable weather. Additionally, there were no complimentary bottled water in the room, although you can refill water at the restaurant. Overall, it was a pleasant stay thanks to the staff, but some basic amenities were missing.
