"It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. "

"The resort was really not open for business. Luckily, staff members were there when we checked in, but were not expecting us. Other than the night watchman, we never saw another employee. On our last night, the gates to the resort were locked and we had to climb through barbed wire and hike down to the main building and find the watchman. He gave us the key and we hiked back up the hill. The front desk was not open the hours advertised. The hot water did not work and we had no one to ask. ...

"Our stay at Madreselva was magical. Carolina took care of us like we were family. The house had plenty of room for our group of 9. We were concerned about there not being air conditioning since we are from TX but it wasnât needed at all. The driveway was long and twisty but 100% worth it for the views. "
