"Unfortunately we were only able to stay 19 hours because we needed to leave due to the nor’easter baring down on Newport. The room was clean and welcoming. Parking was off site (approx .2 miles) and easy to access. We missed breakfast because we had to leave early. The person in charge of breakfast seemed a bit annoyed because I came up to the 3rd floor to get some coffee and food for the road 10 minutes prior to the 8 am serving time. Grabbed some fruit and a couple muffins but was offered nothing else."

"Overall the resort was very nice and my family had a nice time. The room was not as clean as it could be in the nooks and cracks and a little tight. The cable also kept going in/out. The shuttle service to town was a perk and the heated pool was very nice. We were disappointed with the spa, they were obviously short staffed and it was very basic for the price. The indoor pool was also closed. Aside from these few things, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back. If you are contemplating staying in town or Goat Island, i definitely recommend Goat Island to give you a resort feel away from the chaos when you have had enough. Not to mention the views of the bay are amazing."

"This was our first trip to Newport and we didn't want a "modern" hotel. The Cleveland is centrally located within the pier district and we did not use our car the whole time we were there. Our room was very large, clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The Cleveland is a very old house that has been refurbished quite nicely. Breakfast is not included but we were able to purchase breakfast at a reasonable cost - eggs, pancakes, toast, English muffins. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit and hot cereal as options also. All in all, we would stay there again when we revisit Newport."

"Mill Street Inn’s location is perfect if you’re in Newport without a car. It’s centrally located, an easy walk to transport, and just a few blocks from downtown. We enjoyed an afternoon drink on the rooftop deck after a long day seeing Newport. Shout out to Alex at the front desk. He was a great help in giving directions and making recommendations. He has a great smile and genuinely seemed to enjoy making us feel welcomed."

"Tim at the front desk was excellent. He gave us lots of great information about sites to visit in Newport. Paula was excellent as well. She moved us quickly from room 200 which has a lot of street noise and was also great to work with."

"This is the perfect location and wonderful for families! If you are travelling with a toddler there are no gates to block the stairways so we bought one from Walmart that worked well. It was an incredible stay and we will be back!"
