Aspen Grove is an exclusive suburb, basking in spectacular views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables mountain range and downtown Queenstown. Ibon House enjoys an especially iconic position, it really is heaven on the hill.

ACCOMODATION DETAILS:
Architecture and interior design converge over 2 storeys, with every inch crafted to take advantage of the jaw dropping mountain and lake views.

KITCHEN AND LIVING:
Walk-in level: large and spacious, Ibon House maximises its spectacular views of Queenstown Bay and mountains with floor to ceiling windows in the lounge. A feature stack stone open fireplace provides toasty ambience after a day's skiing. Kitchen and dining on this level, enjoying the amazing outlook, along with a laundry and separate lavatory.

OUTDOORS:
Indoor-outdoor living is an essential part of Kiwi summer living, and you will not be disappointed here! The living and dining areas open onto a private courtyard, equipped with a BBQ and ample outdoor furniture- prefect for open air dining.

ENTERTAINMENT:
All the modern entertainment amenities are easily found here, lounge on the couch after a busy day exploring and indulge in Sky TV, or listen to your favourite playlist on the sound box.

GARAGE AND EXTRAS:
Finding somewhere to park your car won’t be an issue, as there is secure off-street parking available.

Downstairs there is room for all the family or friends, with four of the five bedrooms and two bathrooms, all beautifully and comfortably furnished.

- For reservations that are outside of 14 days to arrival will only require a 25% non-refundable deposit. The balance is then due 14 days prior to arrival.

We stayed here with friends and family. The house has the most amazing views and is very comfortable. Whilst aspects of the home may be a little tired the location and amenities far outweigh this.

Pictures actually don’t do this place justice, I expected views and a comfortable place, but in reality views are spectacular. From the kitchen, the bedrooms and especially the outdoor spa. It’s such a great escape place for a bunch of friends or two families. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property in a brilliant location. Views were unobstructed and and absolutely incredible. Property is a little older, but photos are a true depiction of what to expect. We were two families staying for a week and we were very comfortable with plenty of space in the middle of winter. So quiet and easy to get around. Would highly recommend and would love to go back!

Ibon house was a great spot for a group of 9 friends to stay for a few nights. Location was amazing and views were to die for. Everything you needed was available and there were tons of places to spread out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return if back in Queenstown. A little bit of TLC would up this from a 4.5 star rating to a 5.

The property itself is older and needs some work. The heating could have been a little better, the fireplace unfortunately smoked the house out, but the views and location made up for it tenfold. Will definitely book again, its perfect for bigger groups.

The pictures don’t do justice to the views from this property. We all just wanted to sit in the window all day! I took hundreds of pictures because I couldn’t get enough. The place was spacious and we really enjoyed our time as a family of nine here! Our stay here just added to the magic of our visit to Queenstown!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property, with stunning views over the lake. Our one small gripe was the way they handle rubbish during your stay. While the conditions of stay clearly outline how rubbish is handled, it is a hassle and this needs to made easier for the guest.

Very nice spot . The view is unbeatable. Only coment would be the need for some maintenance.... toilet roll holders loose .... bathrooms are due for an update. Otherwise would be very happy to stay here again . Management was great and when we needed help Billy was our hero.

View is spectacular at anytime of the day or night. Only negatives, Lack of decent utensils eg. frypans etc, fridge too small for 10 people. No recycling bins for plastic/glass etc. Overall though we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Ibon House.

Perched high on a mountain side, it presented us with 180 degree views over the lake and Queenstown. The windows have been positioned to maximise the scenery from every room upstairs and downstairs. The house was generally clean and well presented however there were some aspects worth mentioning: 1. The toilet paper holders in all the toilets were coming off the wall and there was insufficient toilet paper provided for 9 guests 2. There were no dishwashing tablets which should have been provided 3. The sinkerator did not work 4. Some power outlets did not work 5. The fridge size was too small to hold food and drink for 9 people and a small bar fridge would have been useful 6. Oven door does not close properly and food took twice as long to cook 6. Shorter stem wine glasses would have fitted in the dishwasher 7. Several doors have squeaking hinges 8. We needed to top up the "S" bend in the upstairs hot water cylinder overflow which then stopped the sewer smells in the upper bedroom. 9. Hopefully you regularly change the code for the 'key safe' otherwise the system is only as secure as the honesty of the previous renters. 10. The utensil hanging block over the mobile food prep bench was a hazard for taller people and served no real purpose. Could be removed and stored in garage. 11. Understand the trend is now to make up beds with bottom and top sheet, doona without doona cover and another sheet on top. This looks like an untidy short cut and an effort to avoid having to do laundry. It does not give the renters the impression of a neat and tidy, well thought out bedroom.
