Casa Mirador: Pool, Swim up Bar, Slide in central location!

Casa Mirador is a stunning 6 BR, 5 bath vacation home that sits on three levels with bedrooms on each floor. It features a pool on two levels with a water slide, swim-up bar, outdoor dining, and a huge sun deck. All of the bedrooms have balconies with sitting areas and spectacular views. For your comfort this home is fully air-conditioned. Located on a quiet secluded street just minutes from the amazing Manuel Antonio beaches, National Park, restaurants, shopping, and the Quepos marina.

The space
You will truly enjoy staying at the Casa Mirador...House of Balconies, as it is a very secluded space, ideal for privacy and having a peaceful vacation with friends and family. This luxurious villa occupies a fantastic location to enjoy exceptional jungle and mountain views as well as a distant ocean view. A comfortable living room with a large screen TV is on the main level along with a large fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. The pool is truly unique, built on two levels with a connecting water slide that kids and grown-ups of all ages will enjoy. The pool deck contains a covered rancho with a swim-up bar, a gas BBQ grill, and an outdoor dining area. There are another two outdoor dining areas just off the main floor, and sitting areas of each bedroom's balconies perfect for tropical drinks while you take in the views or just a relaxing cup of morning coffee. The house is fully air-conditioned with six bedrooms and five full bathrooms. An expanding bed and a futon bed that can be placed in any room can increase the sleeping capacity to 16. With all of the balconies, sun decks, and gathering spaces in this contemporary home there is plenty of room for large groups to spread out and enjoy the wildlife and tranquility from different vantage points. This home is AMAZING! It is exactly as pictured and was perfect for our group. There were two families (eight people total) with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. The AC is cold (huge bonus) and the decor is beautiful. The pool and slide were the main attraction for the kids! It is SO close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio so plenty of restaurants, activities, bars, grocery stores, etc. SUCH a great location. Maria was super helpful and quick to respond to any and all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend this home!

Wonderful Time at Casa Mirador

We had a wonderful time at Casa Mirador! There was so much space for our older (teen) kids and we really enjoyed the outdoor area including the wildlife! Maria was extremely helpful and it was nice that she met us there on our arrival. We will definitely recommend that others stay at this lovely home!

Great house close to many activities

Our group of 13 adults and teenagers was comfortable in the house and really enjoyed relaxing and hanging out in the outdoor area for coffee in the morning and pool time in the evening. Having a concierge to help with recommendations, setting up an in house chef service, and booking the things we wanted to do was a huge help. Would definitely stay again!

BEST TRIP EVER

We all came together to celebrate a Husband, Brother, Cousin and Friend 55th Birthday. The house was everything the pictures gave. It came with a concierge who was the absolute best. She was on point and help plan excursions and dinner outing and a personal chef for one day. The owner also was in contact and made me feel great about his rental. THIS HOUSE IS A MUST!!!

Great Family vacation!

Maria, the concierge was wonderful and we used her for the planning of all our excursions, and taxis to the beach and marina. Zip lines, ATV tour and Sunset Cruise. Highly recommend all BUT the Sunset Cruise. It was expensive and the snorkeling was terrible. However the staff on board was great and very accommodating to our group of 13, ages 4-77.We had a chef-prepared breakfast every day and two chef-prepared dinners during our 8 days. Chef Reimy was the best — highly recommend treating yourselves to this at home catered dinner! The jungle environment did not disappoint, with plenty of monkey, iguana, macaw and toucan sightings! Plenty of beetles made their way into the villa, and that is just to be expected I guess. The outside pool area and slide were definitely the highlight of this property, as the Villa itself was just okay. There were ongoing problems throughout our 8 day stay, starting off with one of the beds not having any sheets, no dish towels or hot pads, to no shampoo or playground (as noted on property description) to sliding doors that wouldn’t open, to a broken dryer, to the pool slide not working on a couple days, to a broken fridge drawer… However, concierge Maria was VERY responsive and most issues were resolved quickly. Regardless, given the expense of our stay in this Villa, my expectations were much higher. Despite all this, the family had a wonderful time and this Villa accommodated our sleeping needs adequately!

Spectacular!

This is a gorgeous house tucked in the jungle canopy. One morning a toucan came to visit and monkeys were playing in the trees. We had plenty of room for a family of 11. The kitchen is amazing. The outdoor areas had a great variety for seating and far exceeded our expectations. There is a barbecue and large covered outdoor table as well as a large table in the kitchen. The slide is super fun. I would say this was a dream vacation in this house!

Wonderful trip

Wonderful stay at Casa Mirador. Host and our concierge were very helpful with tips and tours. Thank you! Lovely house. We loved the pool and the slide and the monkeys. Only tip for others is to bring your own shampoo.

First time in Costa Rica

The property was very nice and in a great part of the country. We especially enjoyed seeing the monkeys, various birds and iguanas in the trees and deck each day. We walked into town each day, shopping and experiences the restaurants. Quepos was nice as well other tourist attractions in the area. Marie was helpful, arranging tours and giving recommendations. The property did need some maintenance, for example, the master shower head needs replacing, and the pool area needed some painting and tile replacements. There was not a hot tub as listed, and the biggest disappointment, it would have been nice after a long day of hiking. But we had a great time. Thank you.

Vacation

We had three children, two three year olds and a nine month old with two families and the house was a perfect layout and fit for us all. We saw monkeys and even a sloth at the house, plenty of birds truly a great spot. The pool was perfect for the hot days and entertaining the kids. Great location 5 mins away from everything and plenty of options all around. Highly recommend

We loved our stay!

We spent 4 nights here with 2 families of 4, kids ages 8-11, while exploring the Manuel Antonio area. It was a perfect home base for our group. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the patio space is enjoyable all day long. We even had an entire troop of squirrel (we think) monkeys visit us one afternoon. We guessed there were 50 monkeys all around and moving through. Maria, the house host was beyond helpful and helped us plan dinners and excursions. The only caution I have is that the house is very difficult to find, you’ll think you’re going the wrong way…and you might be. Thankfully, Maria was very available and waiting for us at the house, so was able to help us find our way.The owner was also very helpful/responsive to my questions after booking up until our trip. Would definitely recommend this property!

Fantastic House in Manuel Antonio!

Our family of 8 were so very happy to have rented this home. The host, David, was wonderful to work with and the Concierge, Maria, was excellent. We booked 4 different excursions through Maria - each was well organized and with reputable companies. It couldn't have gone any smoother! We had a large iguana who we named Ozzie that hung out with us on the trees next to the main deck. We had squirrel monkeys that came up on the deck while we were outside playing cards. They were hilarious and pretty sure they were thinking we might have food on the table that we were all gathered around! Alas, no!Our grandkids loved their first visit to Costa Rica and made good use of the slide and pool. It was simply a fantastic trip! Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, David! Pura Vida!!

National Park and beach experience

I live in CR and wanted my family and friends to experience Man. Ant. national park after the wedding. The booking process on vrbo was accurate and straightforward. The concierge Maria was always available and super helpful. If you are planning a trip to CR I highly recommend this listing.

Fantastic house and location

Let me begin with the booking process. David was super responsive and he informed me that Maria, the concierge, would be able to assist us with the house and any tours, excursions, etc that might be needed. Upon booking the house Maria got in contact and was very helpful. She is such an asset! She helped with booking airport transportation, a car rental and several excursions as well as grocery delivery. We arrived late on a Friday and on Saturday morning she stopped by to meet us and answer any questions we had. The house was clean and I thought it was actually better than the pictures. My family (husband, 4 kids, mom and neice) and I loved the house. Enough bedrooms for everyone and we enjoyed the pool and slide. The location was great; just a few minutes drive to town and Quepos. There's a small grocery store within walking distance (10 minutes) and the beach was a short 10 minute drive. I thought the kitchen could have been slightly better stocked-there were baking sheets, but they were actually too large for the stove (my mom had bought a mix to make cookies with the kids) and it could benefit from measuring cups (one was cracked), but this is really nitpicking. The A/C worked fabulously and we really enjoyed the outside furniture where we could enjoy our morning coffee or the kids could play cards. We highly recommend this house! And Maria!

Great for all Ages!

We loved our stay at Casa Mirador! The slide into the pool was so much fun for everybody! We had a very large group, but it was still big enough for everyone to spread out and be comfortable. There is a great little restaurant, Cerdo Feliz, right up the street and a grocery store right next to it with just about anything you need. The A/C worked well and everything was clean and up to date. The house manager, Maria, is amazing! She made sure everything was perfect and checked in on us throughout the trip to make sure all was well. She also coordinated a chef to come in and cook for us the last night, and he was incredible! Fantastic stay at Casa Mirador!

There were 6 of us who spent a week lounging in the pool and enjoying all that this wonderful villa had to offer. On our very first full day there, a squad of 10+ squirrel monkeys came by to visit, which was AMAZING!!! The onsite property manager, David, was incredible. So helpful with anything we needed, and always available via WhatsApp. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio.

Big, beautiful house

House was great. Plenty of room to assemble as a large group or hideaway for some privacy. The pool and slide were amazing, and the Supermarket was just the right distance for a morning walk. Our Host David was also phenomenal. 10/10 highly recommend

Gorgeous Family Friendly Home

This place was wonderful. We had 11 guests (5 adults and 6 children) and there was plenty of room for all of us. The amazing pool was such a highlight. The host helped us book amazing tours and adventures for the whole week. The location was perfect and safe for everything we wanted to do.

Great Location BUT Property Condition was subpar

The host and chef were amazing and highly recommended. That said, the property must be owned by someone that doesn't take pride in their properties because it was not very clean - spider webs under all the stairs, sand in the bedrooms, the master bedroom HVAC didn't work the first night (they did replace next day). There were missing tiles on the pool slide and broken stones throughout the backyard creating a walking hazard for my grandparents. For the daily rate - the property should be in excellent condition which it was not. They also charged us for the 6th bedroom when 1 of the king bedrooms you have to go through another king bedroom to access it. This is NOT a bedroom if it doesn't have a closet. You also can't charge people for a 6th bedroom that you can only access through another bedroom - there is no privacy.

Loved it!

This house was perfect for our family. So much room! The pool was a blast and watching the monkeys, iguanas and toucans from our yard was incredible!

Fantastic Stay

Our family had a great stay at Casa Mirador. The house was roomy, clean and in a great location. We really enjoyed the views from the balconies and the pool/outdoor area. Chef Marcos provided a great meal, and Gary was very helpful in booking tours in advance of our arrival. David was incredibly helpful during our entire stay and made our trip so much easier by giving restaurant suggestions and arranging transportation when needed. Would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Fun Family Place

We absolutely loved staying at this campus location. The house was amazing. The pool was fantastic. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and arrange fabulous tours with the help of David. David was an excellent resource for anything and everything that was needed. We absolutely would love to come back and stay here again someday. The location to the Manuel Antonio national park and two other adventure tours was ideal. The kids ranging in age from 10 to 18 all spent the afternoon swimming and having a great time in the pool and on the pool slide. Thanks for renting this majestic place!

Perfect for a large family getaway

Excellent! The home is very large, lots of sleeping spaces and bathrooms. Well decorated and very clean. The pool was hit and the slide was a lot of fun!! Love that there is plenty of cleaning supplies and trash bags and everything you need to make your stay comfortable and convenient. David was super quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Super professional and responsive. Highly recommended for large families or large groups.
