Beautiful getaway

The house is amazing. Beautiful views, wildlife everywhere. Cool off in the pool, relax in the hot tub. We will definitely stay again. Jorge was very helpful with anything we needed.

Amazing!

We loved the Bali Treehouse!! Hazel and Jorge were really helpful. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and it’s not too long of a walk down the quiet dirt road to an amazing beach. The monkeys were awesome. Trip of a lifetime.

Beautiful property

This property was beautiful! Monkeys visited nightly which definitely added to the charm! We saw 3 different types of monkeys from the balcony as well as a sloth. The house is clean and tidy inside, but we especially enjoyed watching the jungle wildlife from the balcony. There is also a lovely beach within walking distance of the home. We would highly recommend! (Friendly FYI: This property does have a lot of stairs to enter if you have mobility limitations.)

Relaxation At It’s Best

We had a great time at the tree house. It was relaxing from the beginning. Throughout the week we were visited frequently by The White Face monkeys. The howlers were vocal throughout the day, but hard to spot. The maid service throughout the week was a nice touch. The stairs are more than steep... like crazy steep! That’s my only negative. However, if you’re staying in a “tree house” I think it would be expected to have to climb. The home is close to the beach and town. I would stay here again and recommend.

Family vacation at Bali Tree House

We had an amazing stay. The customer service is superb, possibly the best I’ve ever experienced. From Hazel who helped with everything leading up to the trip, to Jorge who assisted during our stay, we were treated like family. Two of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve met. The house superseded our expectations as well. We were mostly hoping to see wildlife and were happy to be visited by white-faced capuchins and squirrel monkeys each night. The house had everything we needed for cooking meals, and we enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the outdoor shower. The bedrooms are spacious and you have the lovely, soft background noise of the rainforest. The house was on a steep road leading to a gorgeous beach. We drove our rental car (must have 4-wheel drive) down and stayed the whole day. If walking, the walk back is like a moderate hike. Great location near many good restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Best house ever!

I am going to give my opinion in Spanish and English, because it is worth it, for both languages, starting with Hazel, there was not a single moment when she did not answer my emails, then let's talk about the house, impeccable cleaning, they came to clean the house And the lady even put the clothes on the racks for us, the house just like in the photos, I would say it was even prettier, the monkeys are an extra, the sound of the birds in the morning is something wonderful, we loved it, Jorge It is the complement of that property. Without him nothing would work, whenever I texted him he answered me, he helped us with the excursions, with a flat tire, shopping at the supermarket, the massage, for me it is the best, Alejandro the Chef gives him give your vacation the flavor it needs, I have been renting on VRBO for years, but this has been the best of all, I would return thousands of times!

5 star service!

We really enjoyed our first trip to Costa Rica, and the Bali Tree House was a great base for us. The home is very well located, less than a mile from the main restaurants and shops Manuel Antonio. It is also a 5-10 minute walk down to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Easy to walk, shuttle or taxi anywhere inexpensively from the home. No need for an expensive rental car IMO. The home itself has AC in every room which was great. Daily cleaning service was also a nice touch. The deck and rocking chairs literally provide a front row seat in the jungle canopy to watch the birds and monkeys do their thing every day, which was really fun! Hazel was our concierge for the trip. The level of service she provided before, during and after our trip was outstanding and alone warrants this 5 star review. She helped us coordinate incoming and outgoing shuttles from the airport, all of our excursions, setting up our chef, answering all of my multiple “dumb first timer to Costa Rica” questions with patience and handling a couple minor items which came up quickly and with grace. Email responses are lightning fast and I admittedly can be a bit high maintenance. Awesome overall experience with everything! Pura Vida!

Great location and great vacation home. Monkeys visited every day!

Our family had a great time staying at the Bali Tree House. The house is well appointed and worked great for our family of 4. Could have comfortably fit a few more people. It is in a great location, close to restaurants, beaches, and the national park. Yet it is tucked away in the trees and feels like you're in the jungle. We had troops of monkeys come through every afternoon (capuchins and spider monkeys), they actually came and played on the terrace. We saw way more monkeys there than at the national park. That was a highlight of the trip and will make it very memorable for the kids. The concierge, Gary, did an amazing job helping us organize the trip. After we booked our reservation, he reached out and helped get tours booked and a rental car arranged. He was always very responsive, had great information and recommendations, and checked in with us after every tour to see how it went. He went above and beyond to make sure we would have a great trip, including picking up groceries for us since we were getting in really late the first night, arranging for the rental car to be dropped off at the house, and when one of our kids left a tablet in a shuttle he tracked it down and got it back to us. One recommendation is to get a 4 wheel drive since the driveway and road to the house are pretty bumpy. Also, the rafting and horseback trips are really fun. There's also a lot you can do at the beach without reservations, including parasailing, jetski, catamaran, banana boat. We had a fabulous trip and hope to go back and rent this house again.

We LOVED our stay at Bali Tree House. The house itself is absolutely beautiful. It truly gave us the Costa Rican experience we were looking for. We had nightly entertainment from the white face monkeys, we woke up to the sounds of the howler monkeys - you really felt like you were living in the jungle. In reality you were a 5 minute drive from gorgeous beaches, incredible restaurants (all with amazing views), and so many once in a lifetime excursions. We will DEFINITELY be back. The thing that made our trip so wonderful was the constant help before and during our trip from our concierges - Hazel and Jorge. They were the BEST!

Tree House Paradise

What an amazing stay!! The amount of wild life we saw just from the porch alone was incredible!! The house inside and out was as beautiful as advertised! Jorge Gomez was an incredible concierge.. always available when we needed something and gave us great recommendations for in town experiences. He even helped us get pizza delivered to the house when we were too exhausted to go out! Highly recommend doing some tours/hiking/excursions but also save some time for just relaxing at the Bali house you won’t be sorry you did!!

We had an amazing week at the Bali Tree House. Immediately after making the reservation we were connected with Hazel who presented several options for airport transportation and information on tours/excursions, etc. She was extremely responsive to any questions regarding our trip. She set up everything for us including a private shuttle from the airport, excursions and a private chef for 2 nights while we were there. The chef was amazing and well worth it. Easily the best meals we had all week! Upon arrival we met Jorge who introduced us to the house and was available all week to set up take out, order groceries to be delivered, call taxi's, answer questions etc. He was extremely friendly, helpful and aimed to please. This team was amazing to work with! We enjoyed the quiet and calm of the location. We spent much of our time on the wrap around porch spotting monkeys, toucans, birds, lizards, etc We were able to walk to 2 different beaches and then walk to stores/restaurants in the evening. The walk back from the beach takes a bit more time because it's up hill but a taxi is available also if you'd rather not walk. The pool is shaded in the afternoon and was perfect for the kids to unwind towards the end of the day. We loved everything about our stay and really hope we can go back someday. Big thanks to Hazel and Jorge for planning and helping to make this such a memorable stay for our family! The only problem was we couldn't stay longer! Pura Vida!

Great location. House was cleaned twice in our six days when we expected it would not be! We arrived late due to heavy rains and late flights, but the concierge stayed in touch and assisted us. Then waking up in the morning we were pleased to have a supply of coffee waiting for us. Area is tereific, great restaurants with a great view. We truly enjoyed the house and our stay

Amazing Stay

Excellent property. Beautiful setting with short walks to beaches. The pool and hot tub were both utilized a ton during our stay. Jorge and Hazel from the concierge team were both amazing at responding and taking care of any requests or questions… The house had everything we needed and more. Having access to a washer and dryer was an added bonus… Amazing stay. I would not hesitate to return.

Great House, Great Location

We really loved our stay at the Bali Tree House. We stayed with our family of 5 (kids ranging from 8-12). And our friend and his 2 sons (14 and 17). The house was plenty big and comfortable to accommodate us all. We utilized the private chef for one day of our visit. Chef Christopher was fantastic. Highly recommended. Biesanz Beach, a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive, was the highlight of our trip. We went there almost daily. This cove beach (no waves) is a hidden gem. One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to. The locals are friendly and get you set up with chairs/umbrella as needed. Storms came through daily in the mid/late afternoon and often lasted into the night. Fortunately, this didn't ruin our trip and we were able to do everything we wanted to do. My reason for 4 stars versus 5 is the following: The house advertises a hot tub, but does not have a hot tub. I was really looking forward to using it daily, but the "hot" tub doesn't get any warmer than the pool itself. I am not sure of it's purpose. Additionally, the set up with lounge chairs by the pool, because of all the rain, these lounge chairs were unusable. There was never a time we could lay out by the pool, b/c the cushions were soaked through for the duration of the week. Waterproof cushions and hot tub that gets hot, would get this house 5 stars. Otherwise.....great location. We mostly drove to the restaurants in town, but it is walkable. Beds are hard, but not uncomfortable

Loved this little oasis!

We are a family of 4 (2 kids in their early 20’s) and this house was perfect! We enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the deck. The monkeys came every evening around 5:30 and entertained us. The beds were super comfortable and the house is very spacious. We often cooked our meals and enjoyed local fruits and veggies as well as fresh fish from the market in Quepos. The pool was a fantastic place to cool off after a day out at the beach. While there were less expensive house options, we’re so glad we paid a little extra for this place. The booking process was seamless and Hazel helped with planning excursions, renting a car and booking a driver for the airport. The location was fantastic- walking distance to restaurants and shops. The beach (beautiful!!) was very close but we chose to drive as it’s a pretty steep hill on the walk home. Jorge was available to answer any questions or help with additional bookings. We loved the river rafting and ATV tour. The night jungle tour was super interesting. We hope to be back to the Tree House again some day!!

Amazing Home

The Bali Tree House was a perfect place to stay in Manuel Antonio. Large, fully stocked kitchen, great pool and hot tub, wraparound porch to watch the various monkeys. And a quick walk down to Playitas beach. Highly recommend!

The Swiss Family Robinson Experience!

The Bali tree house really is an incredible experience in Costa Rica and should be booked if you get the chance. Our concierge Jorge greeted us upon arrival and helped us to the treehouse with our bags. The house is stunning and huge! The pool is very nice and the hottub warms up real quick. The outdoor setup was the perfect place to unwind after a full day at the beaches! The MONKEYS! What can we say, that was the ultimate highlight of our trip. Monkeys hanging out on the balcony during dinner, howler Monkeys at night and early morning, INCREDIBLE! That alone was worth the stay. We stayed here with 2 adults and 11yr old and 14yr old. We all had the time of our life. The treehouse is so close to the Manuel Antonio park and very close to amazing restaurants with amazing views. The grocery store us very close as well. We hope to be back soon!

AMAZING place to stay in Qeupos!

My friends and I traveled to Costa Rica to Celebrate 30th and 31st birthdays. We absolutley LOVED this property and we had the most amazing time. The house was beautiful, clean, nice, and very spacious. As an unexpected bonus, there were mokeys all over the balcony area most evenings which was very fun to see them so up close. Jorge, the concierge, was incredibly helpful and very responsive. The cleaners whi came every other day were also wonderful and much appreciated. i HIGHLY reccomend a stay here!! Thank you!

Wonderful

We had a fantastic stay at the Bali Treehouse. We saw monkeys and sloths right off our deck. The communication from Jorge was top notch. The treehouse itself, while beautiful, does feel a little tired in some ways. Part of stove didn't work and was quite worn. Dishwasher was old and wouldn't latch, peeling paint, etc. This didn't effect our stay, but thought it may be helpful for others.
