I like the check in process on this property. The staff was very helpful too. There are a few restaurants nearby but going to the towns of Quepos or Manuel Antonio requires an uber but is very cheap. You can order food too via fiesta express.

Well kept property, nice pool area and friendly staff.The best was seen the monkeys on the ropes and jumping from three to tree in the pool area. Friendly staff. A bit out of town, closer to Quepos, you need a car or Taxi/Uber.

Cute cabaña with kitchen. We didn't cook, but used the frig. Beds very comfortable, AC worked well (and was needed). Host was fun and gave good information. We were a little worried about it being right next to the road to Manuel Antonio, but very little sound came inside. "Resident" iguana and frequent squirrel monkey visits. Recommend.

Great stay! We stayed for 4 nights and it was a great stay. We were welcomed by a family of monkeys when we first got there. Super cool ! Renata was very welcoming and helpful. The room was great with a little kitchenette which we used every morning for coffee and breakfast - perfect location to go to Manuel Antonio or Quepos, as it is right in between. Another plus was the place next door also has live music on Friday nights so easy walk for lively entertainment. Pool was a perfect way to end a busy day of exploring the towns around us. Very refreshing - plus some great wild life around the property. Highly recommend!

Well maintained place. Bus stops in front of hotel makes it convenient to take public transportation to Manuel Antonio/Quepos, where parking can be challenging. This is adult only resort.

Great manager, she is kind, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to reach. The place was clean and good location. Great for those on a budget not needing every amenity. If driving, back into parking lot. Grill currently not available due to building of an outside sitting area. Not sure you can walk to marina in 20 minutes, nor would I given the hill, but you definitely cannot walk to the park. Don’t think this error in landmarks is the fault of Tico Tico though, but the reason for my 3 stars on accuracy.

Tico Tico was the ideal place for our two-week stay while we attended Spanish School in Quepos. We stayed in villa #12 which was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spacious, clean, and had a great open, modern aesthetic. And A/C!!! Having the kitchen was fantastic. We used the stove every day to cook eggs for breakfasts, and when we didn't want to eat out for lunch and dinner, we made sandwiches and salads. They even provided a hot water kettle so we could make coffee and tea. The location was perfect--5 minutes on the bus to Quepos in one direction and 10 minutes to Manuel Antonio in the other. And the bus stops directly in front which was super convenient. The pool was gorgeous and provided a wonderful place to cool off after being out in the heat. And the hammocks on the covered pavilion were a great place to read and study. The staff was friendly, helpful and responsive. The owner even drove us into town one day when we *just* missed the bus and needed to get to class quickly. The ONLY complaint we had was that the road noise could sometimes get loud. The property is located close to the road and the noise from the motor bikes (especially) was annoying when sitting outside in the pavilion or the pool. When indoors, it was not a problem. I normally don't book through a 3rd party, but we got a very good rate through Expedia. It was about $30/day less than booking through Tico Tico directly, which for a two-week stay really added up.

Coming Back Again and Again!

This is a hidden gem amongst the crowd of choices in Manuel Antonio. You will see more wildlife here than walking though the park. (Still go to the park!) The entire staff is are incredible example of Costa Rican hospitality. Treat this as your home. You will read in other reviews about a loud street. If you have ever done any traveling abroad, the noise is nothing that will keep you up.

The 2 bedroom suite was roomy and clean. The art work was beautiful. However the shower water was cold, was uncomfortable to shower due to being too cool. The area is noisy due to the traffic of vehicles/buses/shuttles/motorcycles.

Vernita was incredible. We talked about different cultures, and had a very interesting conversation. She recommended a place to eat dinner, and it was good. I walked down the hill, a couple of times, to Quepos. It was a nice place, and everyone was friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. I saw two red Macaws fly overhead. It was a sight to see. I would recommend the place to people that don’t want to stay in a hotel. It’s safe, and secure.

I loved staying here! It was so cute and quiet. There is a small store in case you forgot anything. There is a bus stop right outside the front entrance that you can take to downtown Quepos or to the beach for under $1.00. The host was SO nice and very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend.

This property is at an intersection on a main road and a bus stop shelter built into the facade in front of the hotel. Lots of steps to climb so keep that in mind with luggage. It is not near any markets or restaurants. Some rooms are renovated and others are not. The sliding doors have no screens and there and no privacy sheers. The unit was clean as well as the pool area and the manager was a rock star.
