Colonial architecture frames the pedestrian-only streets where locals gather for evening promenades beneath string lights. Visit the aqueduct at sunset, then explore the arts district where you'll find galleries tucked inside former haciendas and cafés serving regional specialties.
This area is very nice, quiet, safe & local. The staff here has been very pleasant & helpful. We even got to know one of them personally which was unexpected, & looked forward to our visits with her personally!

We stayed in Casa Postal Hotel Boutique for one night since our flight to Queretaro arrived late and we didn’t want to drive back home to San Miguel De Allende at night. The hotel is located in Centro Histórico near many restaurants and shops. The hotel does not have onsite parking but do provide valet parking at a rate of $285 pesos per day.
The hotel is a beautifully renovated old convent adjacent to a church. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds and linens are comfortable and I...

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights after 5 days in San Miguel..Overall the B&B was great. The people are fantastic and will try and accomodate your every need. Small little courtyards with tables on ground floor..! .that's where you eat your breakfast...There is an actual menu for your breakfast!! There was no microwave or fridge in our room, but there is a separate room there that has a micro, empty fridge and a stocked refrigerator with drinks. You can also buy all sorts of snacks...

Amazing hotel with their best spontaneously fermented Belgian style beer in Mexico. We will be back again soon. The property has so many options with the spa, pool, and multiple restaurants.

I highly recommend Residencia Sofia for anyone who is
looking for a great and afforadble extended stay (2-4 weeks or longer), better than many Airrbnb stays that I looked at!
The staff is very friendly and the manager, Jesus, keeps
everything running smoothly; Jesus emailed me 3 times
a week before my arrival, with helpful information.
The neighborhood is safe and quiet, with many tree-lined
streets; speed bumps keep the traffic calm; there is a nice
8-block-long park just 1 block north of the...

Fenomenal!
