"I loved the room, the breakfast, the pool, the grounds (there were wonderful paths leading to nearby goats that you could see on a neighboring property). There was a sauna and a hot tub but neither was on. There was a sign for yoga but I didn't see any yoga session."
"The property and surroundings were beautiful. The room was very nice and fit our family of four perfectly. We loved hearing the nature noise maker surrounding us and the nature hike was really fun too. I would recommend a 4x4 to get to the property, it is a good ways up a bumpy road."

We stayed in the family villa for 2 nights and found it to be spacious with beautifully landscaped grounds. The local waterfalls were easily accessible and we could walk to local restaurants. "We had an amazing time at Casa Del Rio. The staff were very friendly at check-in and during our stay. We enjoyed the different pools and the fun waterslide. The villa we stayed in was very comfortable and spacious and we really enjoyed having a grill on the deck and being able to self-cater some nights. We enjoyed the breakfast - there was a good selection on the menu and especially Diego was a fantastic waiter who looked after us and the kids really well. The location is really good - just a few minutes from the town but in a nice quiet location and close to the La Fortuna river and waterfall."

The AC was great and staff responds super fast using their WhatsApp. Location is amazing as it’s super close to El Salto and the waterfall but avoids the noise of downtown La Fortuna. The rain also sounded amazing on the roof at night. They also have private access to a river! Perfect location if you are looking for a stay in nature that still has the comfort of a resort. "
