"We had an amazing experience at Arenal Observatory. The staff was super friendly and bilingual. They even left special treats in our room for us :D Transportation was easily accessible and the trails were beautiful and well maintained. The restaurant served delicious food and has a great view! I highly recommend booking the shared casona. The rooms were spacious and clean and it has a small observation deck right next to the entrance! My only complaint is I wish there was a microwave and fridge even a shared one in the casona but other than that, a 12/10 experience <3"

"I stayed here with my parents and boyfriend and just had the most pleasant time ever. The workers were extremely accommodating to every single plan and idea or question we had. It’s the rainforest, the drive to nearby things is not troublesome in the slightest either. "

The gate is obvious but easy to miss, it's a steep private driveway on the corner, just after the Fusion Arenal restaurant.It's a nice space, good view of the lake and volcano (if the clouds aren't covering it). Lots of windows, excellent internet. The detached kitchen is interesting, with your choice of electric OR gas. Only minor complaint, it could use some places to hang bathroom towels. "

"We loved our stay at the Encantada Guesthouse. There is no way to describe how beautiful the grounds are on the property. The house was spotless. Nita and Marty gave us 6 pages of helpful hints for traveling to the area to prepare us for the trip. That information alone was priceless. We loved every minute at the Guesthouse. We had a wonderful time and we would definitely stay there again if we ever returned to the area. Thank you Nita and Marty for making our stay so memorable!
