"I can't say enough positive things about Arenal Manoa. I was blown away by almost everything. Check-in was easy and the staff was super helpful. One was willing to call the chocolate store for me when I discovered I left my phone there. (thank you, chocolate store staff). There is a good system for tourism pickups, and shuttle drivers are very familiar with Arenal Manoa. One stopped us in the long driveway to point out Howler monkeys in the tree! So cool. Our habitaciòn was perfectly situated on the upper terrace of the beautiful, lush property to see perfect views of the volcano (every day!) plus toucans and tons of other birds. The only wildlife we didn't see and wanted to was a perezoso. We got a VIP deal on hotels.com so they provided a small bottle of wine, chocolates, towel art, an extra lunch free of charge, and a $39 spa credit, which we used. The spa was great, so unique. Definitely try to book a service. Our room was clean minus hormigas (ants) everyday. We evicted the big ones ourselves, then had the cleaning staff try to get the teeny ones. They didn't bother us as much until our last day when they discovered our toiletries. The a/c worked well, the beds were comfy although I could've used another pillow, and the lanai/porch was amazing. Service was pura vida. It's a great location too just outside of La Fortuna. I would very happily stay here again."

"An absolutely incredible stay, beyond all our expectations. Every single detail was perfect, from the exceptional service and the fresh, delicious breakfast, to the beautiful rooms, luxurious showers, and stunning balconies overlooking the rainforest and the gorgeous pools. The entire staff was kind, generous, and always ready to help. It was truly hard to leave this little paradise and go back to reality. Without a doubt, one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. Highly, highly recommended!"

"This hotel was a hidden gem! It is right in downtown la Fortuna and close enough to walk or uber for cheap to anything and everything!! Beautiful views from every room and the pool of the arenal volcano! "My husband and I recently stayed in a Riverside Villa to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary, and it was truly one of the most incredible experiences we have ever had. Costa Rica has become one of our favorite places in the world, not only because of its breathtaking scenery, but because of the kindness of its people and its beautiful culture. This hotel elevated our entire experience and made our anniversary celebration unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. The team went above and beyond by preparing our villa with champagne, flowers, and special touches that made us feel celebrated and appreciated. Our Riverside Villa was absolutely stunning. Falling asleep to the sounds of the river and waking up surrounded by lush tropical nature felt magical. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, spotless, and offered the perfect combination of luxury and immersion in nature. Having a private jacuzzi while being surrounded by the rainforest created an experience that was both relaxing and unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the couples massage. We have traveled to many places around the world and experienced numerous spas, and this was honestly one of the best massages we have ever had.
