"The apartment is nicely decorated with a good sized bedroom and walk in closet. The couch does offer an option for additional sleeping. The linens and towels were also good quality. You can walk to the water but not to swim if you are visiting during the summer. I am sure the beach area is not too far. Stonington is a we lovely town with many little shops to explore. It is also super close to Mystic, Westerly and a less than an hour to Newport. I would highly recommend staying at Scott's place. His rental home in front of this apartment is beautiful as well. Parking could pose a problem during the summer months. I had to park down the block one night. I thoroughly enjoyed spending the days leading up to New Years here. The snow added to the holiday experience for us. "

"Saltmarsh Ledge is an exceptional property. The home is elegant, comfortable and has every amenity for the care and comfort of guests. The land is extraordinarily beautiful (we loved the train). The area has many interesting features such as the Velvet Mill, great restaurants and shops. I look forward to visiting again."

The king size beds in every room made for a good nights rest. Our host was welcoming and responded to any questions. The property manager, Louie, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable. Thank you both for everything!"
