The Fishing Cottage served as the perfect backdrop for our gathering, bringing us together after journeys from as far as London and Japan, as well as those who drove up locally. The genuine warmth of your hospitality truly made the difference, and it seemed like everyone had an absolute blast. "The property manager is very kind and committed, but the place was really dirty. Not only did we did not want to spend time cleaning on vacation, but in the time of covid, we want to trust that the house had been thoroughly cleaned. "I think I said this in my last review but if you like boats this is the place for you. We love sitting outside watching the boats come and go. Walking to the Shanty is quick and easy. We would much rather stay here than right in the town. The property was clean enough but I feel like it really can use a deep cleaning. There’s lots of lovely decorations that seem to catch a lot of dust and hair. We plan on coming back in a few years and staying here again. Thanks for the great family memories."

"The house was perfect for our family’s long weekend stay in April 2024. The location is splendid for its views, water accessibility and peace and quiet. We kayaked to the barrier island (approx.15 min) and found many pristine whelk sea shells. We thoroughly enjoyed crabbing and fishing in the creek as well bird watching.
