"My husband and I stayed at the Cooten House for 9 nights. We were met by Sam after we landed and he had us follow him to the house to make sure we were settled in. Jeremy followed up with texts to make sure we were comfortable. This certainly made us feel welcome and was a great start to an absolutely wonderful stay at this property.We loved the privacy, the quirky decor, and the view. "Alfreda was a pleasant, conscientious hostess who keeps her rental spotless. The apartment is literally high up on a hill overlooking Hodges Creek Marina below and the Beef Island Airport across the bay. You can't beat the view!!! Of course, that means a steep climb up the hill (at least, relative to what we are used to) to get there. There is plenty of AC in the bedroom and we found the trade winds blowing through the living room very pleasant and comfortable. That portion of the apartment doesn't appear to have AC and we didn't need it but if that is a deal breaker for you, then be advised. My wife and I would be more than pleased to stay there again the next time we visit Tortola. Thank you, Alfreda, for a pleasant place to stay!"
