"Amazing location, lovely room and nice breakfast."

"This hotel was an excellent choice during my stay in Ljubljana. The ac worked really well, the bed was comfortable, the shower ran hot and cold water easily, and the whole property looked clean and was overall well maintained. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, as I was pleased they carried several vegan options. This included oats, two types of cereal, different bread types and various jams, almond and soya milk, many types of fruits, hash browns, soy patties that looked like falafels, hummus, pickled vegetables, mixed legumes protein salad, baked beans, various juices, and probably other things that I may have missed, but these were the staples I saw. The breakfast hours were also generous, starting at 6:30am and ending at 10:30am. I did see they had a fitness area on floor 1, but I didn’t get the opportunity to use it. They do have a tiny market where you can buy some beverages and snacks, and have a water refill station, so you don’t need to keep buying water bottles during your stay. The location was also perfect as it was around the corner from the dragon bridge, main market, and lots of restaurants. The day tour I had reserved also had this hotel as one of its meeting points, so that was convenient. Definitely consider this hotel if staying in Ljubljana."

Meksiko Hotel

"I stayed for 7 nights in hotel Meksiko. My room was facing the hospital so up until 9pm, you can sometimes hear the helicopter landing on the top of the hospital. Plus: 1 min to Hofer (Aldi) 12-15 mins from bus station / city centre. Staff were fab. Hotel is not manned 24/7, so after 8 or 9pm, you will need a code to access it. The breakfast is basic, and the same each day; and some food (ie oranges, bananas etc) are cut so as not to be taken away to eat on the journey. The room, although they changed my towels when asked, the floor was not hoovered, and I could still see crumbs or hair from days before. The room however was spacious and had a fridge in it, which was wonderful. The air con was also a gift. They had enough plugs in the room. Shower kept wetting floor even when shower door was closed. Toilet buttons would often get stuck and I would need to pull them out for it to function again. Wish they had a kettle in the room. Good stay - especially for my last min trip and budget wise. For me - the hotel is a bit too far out from the centre, but met my basic needs."

"We stayed 2 nights and loved the hotel the staff were very helpful, we ate in the restaurant which was very nice! Room was spacious and couldn’t fault the cleanliness at all ! It’s outside of city so a car would be useful but there is a lovely walk to the city away from busy roads !"

"Our little room was nice and clean. Lots of bathrooms and showers, some private and some like a stall situation. They were a little messy, but thats just the people who where staying there at the time. We had a car and parking couldn't have been easier with reserving a spot. Close to the town center."
