"It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

"When searching for the room I stated that I would be travelling with my son. We got to the where there was a double bed and a blow up bed. I asked the host for a duvet and pillow. Response there are two pillows on the bed just use one of those and for a duvet we were presented with a base sheet and a cover for a duvet. "At first we were very disappointed that our anticipated stay at The Manor House was cancelled due to renovations being done just then. We were given a very nice room with a view over the course and Christchurch Village and every effort was made to make us happy. We had arrived by train and so on were on foot, but the concierge and the shuttle drivers were very kind, helping us to accomplish all that we had planned for our two days there. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious…there was everything we could imagine to choose from. Although it’s a very large hotel, we were so impressed by how all the staff make a guest feel welcomed and cared for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
