"I have stayed at Tara Mantra many times as it is a lovely friendly and very comfortable hotel. I stayed a week with friends and we all felt relaxed and made to feel very welcome. My only criticism is that the cooked items in the buffet breakfast are mainly cold even early in the service. "

"This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel. Overall this hotel is very nice and just a hop to the beach (if you can stand the heat). "Delightful staff. Helpful in the extreme though their English is minimal. A lovely peaceful spot right on the wide sandy beach. Not a lot around and no good restaurants but the chef at Verano Beach is pretty good so, though we had a car, we ate in the hotel every night under the stars. Large, colonial rooms all in white have all the usual amenities but they are a tiny bit tired. Didn't put us off though and we hope to return."
