Used to be one of the best in the 80s
Need some renovation for sure. But fantastic furniture spacious rooms (heritage) all rooms overlooking the pool nice gym good bar and restaurant with good food and staff. I heard that the furniture mirrors etc used to be owned by the Mysore maharaja "

"The hotel was everything that we expected. There were few facilities but we didn’t expect any. Staff helpful and friendly. Room comfortable and well appointed. Area around the hotel felt safe . There were restaurants , takeaways and shops nearby so good location but no attractions to walk to that we could find. Round the corner from a busy hospital so some noise but plenty of tuk tuks"

It is conveniently located to the cricket stadium, which is one of my main reasons for visiting. There is a good tea shop across the road which offers good tea , samosas and snacks. The beach is not that far away from the hotel and can be accessed by walking or other transportation options nearby."
