    Additional advisories:
This house contains 2 original ornate fireplaces and while one is sealed off from use, the other is NOT to be used. They are original coal burning fireplaces and are NOT equipped to burn wood or logs of any kind.

The house contains circa 1930's aged steam radiators throughout. While they are functional and an amazing additional heat source, they are not necessary to heat the home and will not be available to be used unless previously agreed upon between host and guest. Please use extra caution in ensuring you are using the appropriately labeled thermostat for the central heating and air only and ensure children do not play or climb on or around them.

    Summer Heat:
During the summer months, outdoor temperatures in Raleigh can reach upwards of 100 degrees. While our home is equipped with a modern HVAC system, it's designed to maintain an indoor temperature within approximately 20 degrees of the outside temperature. This means that on exceptionally hot days, the AC may struggle to keep the interior as cool as some guests might prefer. To help combat this, all bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans and blackout curtains to provide additional comfort and help regulate the individual room temperatures. Keeping exterior doors closed and minimizing frequent opening and closing of these doors helps to keep the cool air in and the hot air out.

    Amenity Functionality:
We strive to ensure all advertised amenities are in working order however please be mindful this house was built over a century ago and will still retain some of it's original charm and quirks. If an amenity fails mechanically and cannot be used during your stay, please notify us immediately for us to contact the appropriate vendor to repair the amenity. We will do everything we can to have it repaired during your stay. For safety and to avoid accidental damage, we kindly ask that guests do not attempt to fix or adjust anything themselves.

We are committed to personalized attention and ready to help you enjoy your stay - from restaurant tips to hidden gems in the Triangle. Whether you're visiting for business, enjoying a family discovery trip, or seeking relaxation and style, this is your perfect destination.
