"A weird mix, to start, it is a beautiful spot with lovely views next door to an old church. Nice warm welcome, lovely clean, comfortable room. The bed was comfortable, the area very quiet so expect a good sleep! There is a nice note about the new staff working so please be patient, but some basics were just missed. "This is a lovely place to stay. My room was small but had lovely touches like bathrobes and pillow spray. Only thing to be aware of is the is no parking nearby.. this is fine as the location makes up for it but the car park is a steep hill walk away. I recommend driving down and dropping off any luggage then going to park. "

"I can't say enough good things about this property, the staff that work there and the lodge that we stayed in by the side of the lake. The Lodge is quite simply exceptional. The build and fit out and furniture, the comfort of the bed, the bifold doors at the front and front view is incomparable. They have thought of everything inside the Lodge and made it such a beautiful place to stay. We didn't want to leave."
