"My two daughters and I stayed in order to attend the Festival of Whales. The location was perfect for our needs. The property however is in great need of updating. It is quite run down. The walls were marked and dirty, the carpet was torn, the towels and sheets were threadbare, tiles were missing in the bathroom, there was rust in the bathtub, there was a shelf missing in the bathroom leaving no where to place toiletries, and there was a cockroach on the floor in our room the day we checked out. The front desk staff member removed our parking fee for the trouble of the pest. I cannot recommend staying here."

"This is an aged property that suffers from very mediocre maintenance. My room showed rusty plumbing fixtures, faucets that do not stop the flow of water, TV remote that only worked after I installed my own new batteries. The sliding glass door to the deck could not be locked so I used a walking stick to keep it secured. There is coffee (not good coffee) but no tea. The referigerator was unclean inside. The room is very spaciouse. Its furnishings included a sofa that is stained. The materilas used in a past "upgrade" are very low budget. There is more to say, but to end this report I'll say that the "complimentary breakfast" was simply dismal. All of the above for nearly $280 a night. NOT RECOMMENDED"

"I want to start by saying Ladera Ranch was fantastic. We absolutely loved this location and the connivence. Hiking trails, biking, shops, restaurants all walking distance. The neighborhood was amazing, the views were breathtaking. All in all a great place to stay, especially with a dog. Saying this we did have some hiccups at the beginning of our stay. The home looked to be tidy at first but upon further inspection there were multiple things that were just simply not clean/cleaned. I did send many photos via VRBO to the host and they did apologize and refunded me the cleaning fee. We had a couple small issues with the home, some appliances broken, locked out of the home early and the cleanliness but all together it is a great home and the host is very responsive. We really did love this location and the neighborhood. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Casa Romantica! The unit is in a great location, very clean and super comfortable.Only issues were that the television didn’t work during our stay - the smart tv function was not working - but thankfully we didn’t have much time for television anyway.Bring your own body wash - there wasn’t any in the shower - otherwise the stay was great!!!Definitely recommended!!"

"Breathtaking views. In this price point you get either golf course OR ocean views (even then, its partial ocean view) This had panoramic view of Golf Course AND the ocean. The home was clean and updated. "
