My room was spacious, comfortable and the garden courtyard was the perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds! The location is also very central and for someone not familiar with the area, was easy to reach and close to shopping and restaurants. Marilyn was wonderful in allowing me to check in early and check...

"The guest house is in a great location - within walking distance of parks and shops and also within driving distance of a lot of what Johannesburg has to offer. The rooms are clean and quiet and the surrounding gardens are well looked after and calming. The breakfasts are delicious and service overall very good. There is secure, off-road parking."

"Was threatened by another guest in front of host and was told it was a joke. I was told he would throw me from the stairs. The guest repeated himself three times and jammed the keyway of the door so I could not enter my room. The host supported his actions by explaining he had a good character reference. I left the place after the next day and threatened them with legal action......it' a shame people don't under hate speech is not funny and should not be tolerated."

"Disappointing. Bed linen not ironed. Duvet hanging out of duvet cover. No blanket provided. When I asked for one, it was damp. White curtains and blinds in bedroom and bathroom were black with dust. Only one towel each provided. Soap container used by many before us. Towel rail broken. No coffee provided, only many packets of sugar. Poolside furniture not clean. Definitely not 4 star! "
