"So lets be frank, this is a classic old school motel built probably before most people reading this was even born. The outside may not the most eye appealing, but its ok. The lady at the desk was very nice. The doors have been updated to keyless entry. Inside the room I was impressed. Its a small room, but it does what a motel should do. Sleep, shower, leave. The room was very well kept and clean. The flooring looked new, and if not, it is maintained. There was absolutely no foul or bizarre smells inside the room. The rooms have an old school built in window unit for a/c. It took a few minutes, but it did get really chilled in the room. The bed was firm and I slept pretty good. I wasn't bothered by any outside noises. I was able to park right in front of my room. I that about motels b/c I travel with a lot of stuff that I have to unload and reload when leaving. I think the price was a little much for this place, but in the long run it was good stay."

"I had planned this on just going out and getting some RnR , both my wife and I needed to get away and relax in nature. We were both VERY HAPPY, LUCKY AND EXCITED upon arrival. This place is truly a hidden treasure, We both loved it and it was really what we needed. If you love adventure and the outdoors this place is definitely worth the place for you. It’s good for the entire family all the amenities for kids of all ages big kids too. Special thanks to Nick our host- bartender. And also Ivan the chef ( great lasagna and hamburger) and the trio cheese dip was delicious. We’re definitely going back out there again as that is our home away from home place. Thanks y’all for for an awesome weekend.."

Possum Kingdom Lake WATERFRONT Retreat

"The cabin was very clean and larger than we thought it would be. Everything we needed was there and that made it very nice. The kids loved the lake access and riding the kayaks. AC was very nice after a long day in the heat. Nice and comfortable, will stay again. Thanks to the owners. EG"
