My husband and I and our dog greatly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more. The views were excellent and we enjoyed relaxing evenings on the deck and wildlife around the cabin!

The cabin was in a beautiful setting with great views and all the amenities. We enjoyed sitting on the deck for morning coffee and tea. There is a herd of Big Horn sheep in the area, which we saw a number of times during our visit. The area is perfect for night star gazing as we had clear nights on our trip. We’ll definitely stay here again when we come to the Black Hills.

Wonderful stay with incredible views

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here with our kiddo and dog. The cabin was bigger than I expected, kitchen was nicely stocked and everything was nice and comfortable. The views were amazing. I was a little worried that the cabin would be close to other rental properties, but all the homes were spaced out on large separate properties, with what seemed like at least an acre of land between each neighbor in either direction.

Absolutely perfect!

The cabin was everything we could have asked for! It had everything we needed and the view from the back deck was gorgeous. The only thing I wish was that we would have been able to spend more time at the cabin! Super clean space and the perfect spot for my honeymoon!

Quiet Beauty

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The view from the back deck was beautiful and the perfect place for coffee in the morning before leaving to explore the area and a glass of wine in the evening after a busy day. Another plus, it is away from the throng of tourists.

Photos very accurately portray the place. Beautiful setting. Nice privacy, especially on deck. Comfy cabin. Bed was comfortable but creaky. Pull out couch pretty old but sufficient. Absolutely no issues with any bugs inside cabin. Very pleasant vibe inside cabin. Everything very functional and well maintained.

Pre-Fall in RC SD Cabin

Wonderful, awesome base for excursions into the SW of SD and/or just hanging out and exploring. We are hikers and lifetime learners and explorers. Could not ask for a better accommodation. Exactly as portrayed on the VRBO site; clean, comfortable with many amenities provided that we find in the best locations that made the experience exceptional. Julie is an awesome manager and the property and rental processes are fair and easy. We highly recommend this spot to others of outdoor mind-sets and likes.

We enjoyed our accommodations. Thank you for all the extra amenities. It’s all the extra things I would find. The bag of coffee grounds, laundry items, extra toiletries and everything you could possibly need you provided. The cabin is in the very beautiful neighborhood mixed in with other homes nearby. We saw dear daily.

Absolutely Perfect!

This cabin is exactly as advertised! It is just secluded enough to almost make you feel like you're alone in the mountains, and close enough to the city that all the activities you could possibly want to do are a short drive away. The cabin was the perfect size for my hubby and I to get away for a long weekend. It was cozy and still had plenty of space to relax, inside and out. There were plenty of household items stocked and ready for use (kitchen wares, toiletries, washer/dryer, etc) and the back deck overlooking the valley is fantastic for morning coffee, and grilling out for dinner. I will recommend this cabin to others, and would stay here again!

Spring Canyon Schoolhouse Coziness

This property is the best one so far, and we've rented quite a few cabins on our travels. Cleanliness was #1 and it is in a quiet location. The view from the deck is beautiful. Saw deer running around, but not the sheep, which is what I wanted to see. When we walked in, we were amazed at how roomy it is. I always bring my own essentials, BUT the cabin is already well stocked!! We put a nightlight in at the bottom of the stairs to the loft. It helped us, especially getting up in the middle of the night. If you trailer a motorcycle, unload in the street, since it is a dead-end road. We absolutely had no issues; the Schoolhouse is perfect. Great location too! Communication is awesome. Nothing bad to say about this property! You will love it!
