"Beautiful property close to Shenandoah mountains hiking and Culpeper, Va. The place is stocked with everything you may need in case you forgot something. I enjoyed the fresh eggs from the chickens and the hammock at sundown.Nice pool and hot tub available when the weather is agreeable."

"Just stayed for my wifes birthday weekend...Everything was outstanding and exceeded expectations. I dont think we've stayed in a better short term rental. The cabin is situated near 2 ponds with great views of rolling hills and great fishing! Coffee in the morning on the front porch was great as well. Loved the proximity to a few of our favorite wineries. Really lovely. Wik was a great host, very informative and attentive! We will definitely be back!"

"This was a beautiful property. The horse pastures were right outside the cottage. There is a hiking trail on the property that was a nice surprise. Highly recommend this cottage and would stay again. "

"Great property with a lot for all ages. This is likely the most well equipped house we have ever stayed in, it is more like a home than a rental. From games to fishing poles to unlimited firewood to horseshoes to puzzles that are all oddly missing just one piece the Madison House has it all. The river and the fishing pond give you days of things to do without ever getting in your car. "
