"We had a great time. The property needs repairs but we weren't looking for perfection. It is a big place and we were able to spread out. The kitchen is great and we spent a lot of time cooking and eating together. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook or bake. "Our families had a great time at the lake house! The dock boat and sandbar were amazing and the neighbors were very kind. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The property manager was very helpful and accommodating! Thank you! The only room for improvement I would suggest is to place an AC unit upstairs as it was a bit hot. That’s it! Thanks again!"

"Loved the laid back nature of the place- no front desk Just arrive, take a life jacket and pull out a canoe and get busy enjoying the amazing lake. Nothing fussy about the place. Restaurant was delicious/ top notch food. Low key staff that help anyway they can but don’t get in way. Firewood and all you need to enjoy your evening in quiet. I’d probably get bigger room Next time .. our space for 4 was tight but I had cheap room "

"The property is very nice and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We enjoyed the heated plunge pool many times during our stay. Kris was very responsive to any of our questions. The property is located within a few miles of numerous hikes. The area is quiet in the off season, so restaurant selection was a bit limited, but a great BBQ place is next door."

Peaceful Pines Cottage 5 minutes from Old Forge

Peaceful and relaxing

"It was perfect! We were all getting burnt out so a nice relaxing and peaceful get away tucked beneath the pines was what me, my husband, and my dog Lily needed. We invited our friends to stay with us for the night and they loved it, such a good time. The hosts really thought of everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home there and comfortable. The cabin itself was beautiful and perfectly decorated and very inviting also super clean which was a plus! Our dog Lily also felt really comfortable there she is a collie shepherd mix so there was plenty of space for her to lounge around when we weren't taking her for walks or hikes. Highly recommend if your looking for a recharge or place where you can just lounge around in and put on some tea, read a good book, or watch a movie surrounded by nothing but nature and pine trees. We are super grateful we got to stay there, and we hope to visit again!"
