"The area was beautiful and the few staff we encountered were courteous. The bunkroom we stayed in had dirty blue pillowcases, fitted sheets, and duvets. This is a shared room hostel which is a great way to meet people from around the world. The wifi was so weak we had to either sit at reception or not have access. Just like any other hostel, you rent towels and strip your own beds of the white linens you place there prior to sleep. The building wasn't well maintained and there was no sound limit...

"The owners welcomed us very warmly and where extremely caring, bringing us some fuel for the fire and checking we knew how everything works. The property is superb, very comfortable and on a great location, with a nice private set up to allow you to enjoy with friends and family"

"Very friendly, flexible, accommodating staff. Only stayed one night but they couldn't have done more for me. Lovely comfortable room, quiet. Very good breakfast, had a cooked breakfast as I had a full day ahead. Would recommend this hotel. Very handy for both Russborough House and Gardens and also Hunting Brook Garden. Not far away from Glendalough either. "
