"Tiffiny was very responsive and great to communicate with. The studio is small but is well stocked! There are quite a few seals that hang out on the dock. We also saw sea lions playing in the water and some river otters at the dock next door trying to get onto their fishing boat. There is a lovely patio looking over the water as well. Would absolutely stay here again!"

"It’s a great place, welcoming and well equipped. We loved the terrace, the view and the kayaks. The one problem is the sky light in the bedroom. It is crazy bright in the morning and uncomfortable eye mask are not doing the trick. For a couple like us that want to sleep in it’s a big no. Please put some kind of blinds on there. Also I would not have wanted to put the fan on with that much dust up there."

"This place is a gem. It's not large, but it's spotless and has a well-equipped kitchen as well as a washer/dryer. The outdoor spaces--balcony and patio--were a treat, especially since we had lovely weather. For us, the key plus was that the rental is literally on the Galloping Goose trail. No need to put the bikes in the rack and drive to a trailhead. This place was built with love and attention to detail. Owner was more than responsive to our questions. Would happily stay here again if we return to Sooke."

"The place was wonderful! We couldn't believe all the dishes, glasses, books, magazines. There was an excellent House Manual with pictures and descriptions answering all the common questions. It even had a section describing how to cross the road toward town safely as the property is located on a slight hill that makes it tricky to see oncoming cars (hint turn right twice to go left!) When in doubt, refer to the manual! Tiffiny is an amazing host and extremely responsive. She is positive, friendly, has a sense of humor and was very helpful. Our stay was a bit overcast most of the time but the sun finally came out our last afternoon and sitting on the back deck reading and enjoying the quiet was exactly what I had hoped for when I booked it. The others enjoyed rock painting, kayaking, and bird watching on the dock. Really enjoyable stay."
