"Good stay. About 30 min walk into York centre. We walked down the river into York which was much nicer than down the main road but takes about extra 5 mins. Room had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Comfy bed and pillow. Plus car park is handy. Check in system was smooth."

"We had a nice warm welcome on arrival . Breakfast was pretty good served by a well mannered woman and it was freshly cooked . The room was clean bed was comfortable shower was powerful and hot. The only downside and this is not the ibis it’s the pub that’s in front Prince William it was pretty poor. "

"Despite being very much an English pub facility the people were very friendly & helpful, the rooms were comfortable & well apportioned. The pubs position just a few meters away from the river walk into the city was a real bonus. It encouraged me to walk rather than rely on public transport, although this was frequent with a nearby bus stop, and I found lovely parts of the city that I may have missed otherwise. I would recommend this hotel to family & friends."
