"On the outskirts of York but has regular transport links into the city centre. Had great breakfast options during the week but the weekend buffet is slightly less impressive but adequate. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Room was clean and of a decent size. There’s some eateries within a two minute walk - highly recommend the nearby sandwich shop. Would definitely staff here again. "

"Room was lovely and comfy. Very clean wth en-suite, shower with amenities, towels body/shower gel, conditioner, hand cream and soap. Comfy double bed, the room had a coffee machine, kettle, fan and hairdryer. 32 inch TV suitable for room size. Complimentary breakfast more of a continental style but not fully. Teas, coffees, cereals, fruit, small selection of juices and toaster and microwave. Host was on hand to make hot drinks and toast, very hospitable and friendly. Guest are welcome to help themselves to hot or cold drinks during day and snacks. Host was very informative on York on local attractions and public transport. Car parks facilities at rear of property. Cottage located not far from York city centre. Beautiful stay would highly recommend and great value for money. "
